1-year update I live in north Texas with very unforgiving sun and heat. I purchased this pool vacuum in May of 2023. It's September of 2024.I have a small, 5500 gallon in-ground fiberglass pool. The entire pool has a "lip" or bench and a useless lounge deck. No other vacuums were able to come close to cleaning it. Until this guy.He can clean the steps, benches, lounge area, walls and bottom. Is he perfect? No. Is he the best option I've found? Yes.It takes some fickling to figure out the best way to adjust the hoses- we foun... read more

Not for palms I've had this vacuum for 2 years now. I will say, if you have palm fronds, this is NOT the vacuum for you. I am constantly having to take it apart to unwrap the palms from the rotar. It also frequently gets caught on our main drain. Just 2 weeks ago one of the hose segments started coming apart. This is now the 3rd that has unraveled. I would hope they would last longer than 2 years.

Hoses are not great I purchased this vacuum on the recommendation of my pool service man. Sometimes the vacuum ends up in a position where it can't roll along the bottom of the pool. I had to switch back to my old hose because the new hoses let air in which caused issues with the suction. The product was easy enough to set up. I cannot comment on durability at this time.

Expect to have to buy new hoses after a year The included twistlock hoses are amazingly convenient in that they stay connected and are easy to work with. Unfortunately, they weather very fast and start splitting open after just a year. Customer service told me that they have no predetermined life expectancy for their hoses as it depends on MAINTENANCE and USE, yet failed to provide me with any further info on how to maintenance the hoses. It would be nice to not have to buy new hoses every year. This is unfortunate, since the... read more

Well worth the price After years of waiting to get a new pool skimmer replacement All I can say is I wish I had done it sooner. I didn't realize how much more efficient the newer motor was going to be and was absolutely impressed from the moment I started the skimmer up. When purchasing I also didn't know that the skimmer came with 32 ft of hose as well as connectors and flow regulators. When this went on sale for $250 it was a no brainer. Some reviewers complained that the skimmer takes the full power of the pump to run, and... read more

GREAT POOL VACUUM PRICED LOWER THAN MOST Needed to find a pool vacuum that was effective and affordable. This one is both. Did a great job after the last dust storm here in AZ. It did take a couple of weeks for me to figure out the suction settings, but now I'm good to go. I chalk that up to human error on my part. The vacuum is great and it's about $300-$400 less than most other models. I have mine hooked up via the suction return that's on the inside all of my pool. If your pool doesn't have one, you can connect via the sk... read more

Good cleaner Used to own a Shark but didn't want to spend the money to replace it...this product works really well in the pool but for me it took some fine tuning to keep it from climbing the walls and sucking air a lot.

Hoses and parts I like how this thing moves around the pool and climb the wall. What I don't like is hoses wear within a year and you have to replace them. I have had to buy hoses 2 times since 2022. So far the hoses have falling apart an unravel. Replaced 10 hoses within 2 years. The hoses are not cheap either. Now the track keeps falling off and I will have to replace that. For the cost of this thing and having to buy costly replacement parts, I don't think it is worth the price. Company should lower the price on the unit ... read more

HOSE Does NOT last! I guess the unit functions OK but the hose is extremely delicate and each section has split over the time I've had it now just around 1 year. Disappointing seeing that I found an old used HEYWARD unit that works much better and the hose is still functioning fine after the 6 months I've had it and however many years old it was before I got it. I'm sure the Arizona sun and UV rays don't help, but I left the hose in the pool while using the other unit and it still falls apart.
