I hghly recommend this pool vac It was a lesser model than what I've been using, but seems more powerful and is doing a great job.
This was basically a repeat purchase - we liked it that much. I had the older models from about a decade ago. This is a more recent version and it was easy to use like my past ones. We purchased this model again because it worked well and required little maintenance.

Good vacuum, keeps pool clean in desert I've had the Zodiac MX6 for a few months now and it keeps my pool clean just like my old Pentair Rebel, but for a much better price. I live in the desert and it keeps my pool from getting filthy with dust.
Weak hose material. This cleaner is so light that if the hose pulls on it, it stands up on the drive track and stays there.Any large debris will get stuck and then you need to open it up and clean it out.Even though the instructions state that it needs only light suction to operate, we had to use full suction.The worst is the hose sections. Attached is a picture of what happens to it after time. A standard pool of 15 x 30 requires all the hose pieces and maybe one more. 100% recommend! I bought this vacuum in 2021 and it is still going strong. Takes very little maintenance and so easy that my kids take care of it. It does a great job, gets all the sides of my pool. Would 100% recommend!
Warning: The hoses don't last and they are ultra expensive I bought the MX6 about a year ago, coming off a Hayward which I had for many years. The MX6 does a better job climbing on walls, the hoses are a very big issue. First of all they fall apart, it happened gradually and now they are all broken. Second the replacement hoses are $35??? so if you need to replace 10 of them, you might as well buy a new MX6. Do not recommend! This has been a problem from the start. Sometimes it runs, and sometimes it won't. It just sits in the bottom of the pool and won't run. We have adjusted skimmer and vac settings every conceivable way, and it is still inconsistent. Now it won't run at all. And the hose constantly floats and sucks air into the line, and through the pump, which can cause huge problems for the pump. And honestly, even when it is working, it doesn't work that well.
