Zodiac Rocks I never write reviews, but I had to here. I bought this because it was cheap and I only planned on using it at a house I was selling. But it works great. I now have it at my house. I run the pump at 40% power because that is all it needs. If cleans the floor, walls, steps. I have never had a cleaner clean the walls all the way up and traverse the steps and seats before. Have had my M6 for 2 years, Have had my M6 for two years now. It still does a great job. The only problem is the hose. After a years they came apart. Had to replace them. Don't like that they are in sections they come apart and have to hook them back together. Just won's one hose.
So far, so good. I've had Kreepy Krawly pool vacs for over 20 years so I can only compare the Zodiac to them. I like that this thing is silent. Much better than the clickity-clack of the Kreepy. It seems to do a good job if you give it enough time. It's not as fast as the Kreepy and doesn't seem to have as much suction so I seem to be running it more. I don't have a problem with that. It works for me, better than Kreepy Crawly First of all lets face it, done of these products are inexpensive . But for the value I found this M6 simple to operate and the best value. Recently I've tried the newest "Smart" Robot, Battery and Electric. They suck. If your trying to impress your techie friends go ahead and waste your money. I'll take a simple mechanical item that works over some high tech electronic item any day. This thing is amazing tis machine sae so much time and hassle when vacuuming your pool. It is an amazing machine. runs along the bottom, of course, but also climbs up the walls and cleans those too. there are two spots where the maching get stuck, so I have to check on it every so often and I suggest that you do to, but it pretty much works. It's a little pricey, but it seems very well built. It comes qaith a lot of hose, and I didn't need all the sections, so I have a couple spares. I keep it out of the sun when not in use ... read more
Works just ok If there is debris in pool it will stop the vacuum from moving. If there is just some dirt in pool works great. The mechanics aren’t the greatest within the vacuum
Good overall but with hose and leaf collector issues The pool vacuum itself does a commendable job in keeping the pool clean. It effectively picks up leaves and debris, leaving the water clear and inviting. Its suction power is impressive.Unfortunately, the hosing leaves much to be desired. Not as good as I they advertise Easy to install, but the robot gets stuck very easily, it cleans dirt good but it doesn’t climb completely and falls off the walls. I have to be babysitting my robot to make sure it don’t get stuck. Also the “pattern” it uses to clean is not really good. It leaves plenty of spots unclean. I wouldn’t recommend, im thinking of dumping this one and getting a better robot that can clean properly. For the price i paid, i was expecting better. Great values and reliable though twigs and thick leaves can cause problems Having gone through several $600+ cleaners which last for 6 months and then break, this is a noted improvement.
