Very poor quality! It never worked properly. Works for a few minutes, then stops. I start again and it works for a few more minutes, then stops. I could not be more unhappy with this purchase. Would NEVER buy this again. VERY POOR QUALITY!
Doesn't work as advertised I followed all instructions for setup pressures were where they are supposed to be! Wouldn't even go up a gentle rise on the pool bottom let alone going up a wall! Sometimes it will just sit and go around in circles! I suspect that this unit was returned for the same issue as a one star reviewer had the same issue! High Maintenace Works well unless there are objects larger than 5mm. Small pebble or twig on bottom of pool will jam and you have to physically remove.
Fell apart after just over a year summary: * Gets clogged with the smallest amount of leaves * hose fell apart after a year details: The Zodiac is a poor vacuum with poorly made accessories. The vacuum cannot handle much - it gets clogged with a few leaves no more than 3 inches long (which is most leaves) - never mind a small branch. It just didn’t work. Seems like the construction was poor. Poor suction power. Not a good balue for the money. It barely moved across my pool.
Hoses are very fragile If you buy this vacuum be prepared to spend a lot on hoses. They break so easily and cost anything up to $30 per hose. You'll probably buy 3 or 4 per year.
It did not work. no suction and very little movement. returned and have not received credit. a waste of time and money.
Does not work well with low suction I have been using "The Pool Cleaner" device for 8 years and it was time to replace it and I like the sound of this one. It stresses that it works with low flow. I have a dedicated line, but it is somewhat low. This device didn't move at all. I had to return it and for the heck of it I bought the same model I was replacing ("the Pool Cleaner"). It worked well! I can't recommend this model. Its cost and look are right, but it needs a strong suction to operate properly.
Complete waste of money! This doesn't work for more than a minute or two. Once there are a few leaves, it shuts off. Totally worthless and would not recommend. Wish we could return it but looks like our return window ended Jan. 31. bummer!
