It works amazingly, until it just atops working I got the vacuum a few years ago and forgot to give it a review. It worked great for about a year. Then one of the wheel motors (gear chamber) gave out. I replaced it and it worked for a couple months, then I had to replace the other one. A couple months went by and it stopped working again and I was never able to make it run again. It jammes and doesn't go anywhere. Expensive for the short time it actually worked and the cost of replacement parts
It doesn’t work. Very disappointed. Have to send it back. Doesn’t work
Don’t waste your money After just two summers of use it is now to the point where it doesn’t drive anymore. I’ve taken the entire thing apart, cleaned all pool filters and it still has so much internal resistance that, even with good suction it won’t self-propel, which renders it useless. Don’t waste your money.
Great pool vacuum with one major flaw. This pool vacuum would have been perfect, but had one major flaw. It would cleab the pool and climb walls as advertised. Sadly for some reason it got tipped over during a normal cleaning and stayd on its side. My previous one would automatically correct itself and flip back on its own after a while. This one stayed in the same spot and would not adjsut. Seeing that we work a lot and need something that can clean the pool mostly unattended. It may be getting sent back First off they don't give enough hose, doesn't matter though because all of the quick connects leak so it sucks air and shuts the pump off. It's very sensitive,one long leaf will jam it up and it won't move..all of they're connections to your existing suck,they don't fit.you either have to much suction, so it climbs the wall so high it sucks air and shuts the pump off. Not as good as my previous zodiac. Suction wasn’t as good as my previous zodiac. They offered a return but seemed too complicated.
Doesn't move around. Seems to have enough suction but doesn't move very good. Constantly fighting with it.
Clogs easily I bought this sweep because a website said it was the best! It's not! I have Mesquite leafs and stems in my pool, skinny little things similar to pine needles. They, and pine needles, jam up the interior of the sweep, a part that the manufacturer calls "the engine." Now, the sweep completely stops operating. Then, you have to pull it from your pool, snap it open, and then remove 6 screws that hold "the engine" together and pick the stems out one at a time.
