Works Great : Clean pool bottom of toys first! I got it setup, it worked for an hour and then stopped. I spent the next 2 days, approx 6 hours on and off trying to figure out why there was no suction. I assumed it was air, fought the lines over and over and never could get it going again. Not recommended unless you are willing to stay in pool with it and guide it When we received it there were some missing parts. Opened it and put it together, Tried to let it run and it would bareley move. Kept getting stuck around stairs and when you would unstick it, it would go back to them. Tried the cord at various lengths and nothing seemed to help. Finally left it alone for a few hours to see if it would work its way around and when we came back it had completely detached from the machine and hose was just stuck on the... read more

this is not the same as the zodiac ranger i ... this is not the same as the zodiac ranger i have from years ago it has no regulator valve or hose deflectors

The search continues... Having used this product for one summer, I'm very frustrated with it. It only worked properly for half of the summer, then it began only going backward. After numerous back & forths with the company & many "we've never heard of that happening before" responses, I have to give it a big fat zero. It's a pain to keep a pool clean, & I had high hopes for this to make that chore a bit easier. I know alot of folks like this product, but I'm not one of them.

3 years and out Bought this in 2014. Used it for 3 summers. Now it doesnt work. Mechanism in the body (valve) no longer 'flaps' so it doesnt move, just sits still. Have to now buy new one. Waste of $100+.

Works but with constant supervision Bought this for our 24' round above ground pool with a 6 ft deep end. It cleaned it but took a VERY long time and without someone watching over it would get stuck in one place. It didn't climb or clean the walls as I had read it would. I'm the end it didn't really save our family much time as we had to constantly look over it.
