Best one! Had a zodiac and after 7 years it broke. Tried a Kreepy Krawler. Boy was I sorry. Thanks to Amazon for refunding my money so I could get this one! The Kreepy Krawler's fittings wouldn't even fit their hoses.I shystered it using some old connections from my previous Zodiac and the thing still wouldn't work near as well as this Zodiac Ranger!!
Help Can anyone tell me if this will work with a above ground SUMMER ESCAPES POOL?? It is a 18 ft by 52 in. I was thinking of getting this but not sure it will fit.
Barracuda above ground pool cleaner Tried this product twice and can honestly say I can't find anything good about it. The barracuda starts out strong but goes downhill quickly. After only a couple minutes it just stopped working. Traded up for a different brand and have been completely happy
This thing sucks..... I have tried it a couple times and it will not clean the entire pool. I have checked the trouble shooting instructions and tried everything it has suggested. Honest just wish I had my money back. I would not recommend this product.
Big Disappointment I spent hours researching to find a replacement for our Kreepy Krauly vacuum. Based on the reviews of Ranger Baracuda I made my purchase and have reqretted it ever since. First the hook up to the skimmer, we have a side wall skimmer that holds a filter/skimmer basket to preven to prevent large debris from entering our sand filter. Wow, super fast shipping. Seems to work pretty well I bought this Baracuda Ranger from Amazon and the product came from In the Swim. That was an outstanding deal for me because it was $70 cheaper from amazon than from the vendor's site, even though the product came from the same vendor. So, the purchased date was on May 22 nd at 9 PM. On May 24 at 6.30 AM I get a notification that the product was shipped and it was at my doorstep 3 hours later. I Could not believe that. Waste of TIME The cleaner was in my pool for over 6 hours. During that time I had to restart my pump 5 times. The cleaner barely covered 1/2 of the pool floor. I would have been better doing it myself, which is what I finally did. Don't waste your time or money.
Not so hot for my pool I have a soft sided pool made by legacy. My filter is a Hayward 3/4 HP with sand filter. The cleaner seemed to work correctly at first, but even at its lowest setting, the thing started climbing the walls. This is the problem. Not only does it climb the walls, but it climbs right out of the pool and starts sucking air. The pump then loses prime and I have to turn the pump off and re-prime the pump. Did not work The product had good suction but continuously moved in the same pattern in the pool. We tried shortening the hose, lengthening the hose, starting it from differnt spots in the pool and changing the suction power. Nothing worked. We returned it and ended up losing $15 in the end.
