I had a chair defect. I contacted customer support, I sent pictures and video's . Within 24 hours a new chair was sent out to replace the defected chair . 4seating.com warranty program is hassle free, simple and easy to use. Most recliners last me one and a half to 2 years. I've had this for over 3 years and doesn't show any wear the seat hasn't broken down like all the others I've had the past 30 years
