54th Street was founded in Kansas City, MO by Thomas E. Norsworthy in 1989. He envisioned a place that would accommodate a consistently crowded dining room as well as a lively bar crowd, while offering the quality food and drinks that exceed national chain competitors. At 54th Street, we believe that great food starts with fresh produce, high quality meats and ingredients and meals prepared from scratch. With our amazing range of scratch prepared menu items, we truly have something for everyone. The Five-Four promise is to ... read more

Outstanding Burgers and Top-Notch Service! I had an incredible experience at 54th Street! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, perfect for enjoying a great meal. Now, let's talk about the burger--absolute perfection! Cooked exactly how I like it, with a beautifully pink center that was juicy, flavorful, and packed with that classic chargrilled taste. Every bite was a perfect balance of freshness, se... read more
Favorite for in town shopping! We often end up in the Costco area of McKinney and love this restaurant. Today I tried the chicken Bocatini and my mother had the Lieutenant Dan fried shrimp. We also got the bread and butter appetizer as well as they fried pickles. NewYork cheesecake!!! Yummy! Everything was delicious. The restrooms were clean and our waitress was friendly and efficient. I do have to say that my husband was not thrilled with the flavor of the cheeseburger. He thought it needed a bit more seasoning.
Delicious food with several options. Came up on this spot late night as everything closed at 10PM in the area. Service was awesome and we didn't feel rushed. Party of 10 and they accommodated us. The only hiccup was that they brought dessert out before the meal. Since ice cream I couldn't let it sit. OMG the Salted Caramel Brownie with ice cream was AMAZING!!! One taste and I couldn't stop. For my meal I had the crab cakes. Good portion for a great price. Lauren, our server, was awesome. Great energy even late at night. ... read more
I'm so sad they removed my favorite pretzel bread and cheese appetizer from the menu!! It's still available at other locations, but not this one. However, the drinks and food are still solid for a sports bar. Please note, I only dine in the bar part of the place as that is why I go! The nachos could use more cheese, but overall, we enjoy strong drinks at good prices (definitely hit up happy hour!) and decent food. We lack sports bars in this area that do not feel like you are in a typical suburb or strip mall, so keep it ... read more
First time visiting. Food was really good and the service was awesome. We visited during lunch service. Crab cakes were so delicious and the queso dip was equally amazing Portions are definitely quality and food was awesome. Drinks were equally great. We will definitely return
Food is good but if you are planning to go there to watch local sports, such as the Dallas Stars playoffs, don't. We went last year to watch a playoff game with some friends. I asked the waiter if they would put the game on the house speakers. No other major sports was on. She said she would have to ask her manager. The manager said they called their boss and was told "no". She said she was told if it were the Cowboys then they would have accommodated. Guess who is NOT taking their Stars game watching party to 54th Street?
54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse - McKinney, TX - Never Again This place is a complete disaster. I strongly advise you DO NOT eat at 54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse in McKinney. I had dinner there tonight and ended up with a nasty case of food poisoning. Whatever they served was clearly unsafe and should've never left the kitchen. It's absolutely unacceptable. This isn't just bad service--it's a health risk. I'm done with this place, and you should be too.
Ok. So we have eaten here a few times over the years and our expectations were low however they outdid themselves. The servers (at least 2)have long hair completely all over the place to the point of having to constantly flick it back out of their face, then menus being taken from a Not joking! We didn't expect the food to be great or the service to be very good( they forgot a salad) but the lack of basic health and sanitation is simply ridiculous. Nice job with the managing of the staff!
Overall we had a pretty good experience here! Our wait was incredibly sweet and was so attentive to our big group. They had so many options of things to eat and the price wasn't too bad either. It was very clean and the food was pretty good as well. We had the nachos which we devoured and I had the chicken tortilla soup. My only complaint was the soup was a little cold but it still tasted pretty good. Not a bad place to go out for a quick celebration or a family dinner!
