I am also a VOIP Hosted, SIP Trunk and DID provider. I reached out to them about it and the sales person in the chat writes 'Go Away"... I had 2 of my sales people call and they got nothing short of someone rude... NOT SURE how you are operating but atleast hire people who want to or atleast like to help people with questions. THE BIGGEST and MOST Important thing is your customer service when it comes to this type of service. Room for Improviement Pros Great group of people, great to work with, No after work pressure Cons No growth, very political even for mid-size company, they like you, you have no skill you get promoted. Advice to Management Grow out of VOIP, surprise the employees, that the talent at management level is there.

Our business had to go through 3 other VOIP providers before 8X8. All the other providers had serious quality of service issues that reflected poorly on our business. Some of these services were even more expensive proving that you don't always get what you pay for. We have had no quality of service issues with 8X8 and the Virtual Office app has been a great addition to your systems.

Our phone system was confined by line issues we had with our AT and T lines and services. To fix the problem they would need to rewire our phone jacks to handle our upgrade to 3 phone lines and handle our fax lines and rollover options at a cost of $800 plus the additional package line fees taking our rates to over $280 a month for 3 lines. Instead we invested in a new 8x8 VOIP phone system and switched to their services. They handle all our needs with excess line and rollover capacity to spare at 1/2 the cost. We also ge... read more

Not Worth the Effort Pros Good Learning Environment. Don't work for Support at 8x8 that is where 60% percent of the work is, Sales is 30% percent. So apply for 10%: Engineering, QA, Mid-Management, Senior Management, C-Management. Cons VOIP is highly competitive environment, the talent at management level lacks in terms of going into new direction. Advice to Management Delight the Employees by getting to something new where the Margins are higher than VOIP.

Horrible customer service and support. We tried 8x8 with a 16-line, dual office plan and it was an absolute nightmare. Apparently their support reps do not leave account notes because every time we called back to report ongoing issues we had to start all over again. The mobile application was extremely slow and the desktop app was very buggy. Multiple service outages that they were not able to diagnose after repeatedly talking to their "Tier 2" support team.
