Pros Offer a choice of an unlimited monthly plan or an unlimited yearly plan Cons None as of yet After doing a lot of research on VOIP providers I chose 8x8 Inc. Due to problems with my ISP, I have had very extensive dealings with their tech support. Hands down, 8x8 are the best that I have ever dealt with throughout the many, many years being in this industry. Pros The quality of the phone is much better than the competitor I was with.Sound quality is much better.Customer support is wonderful.Much more user friendly than the other companies equipment.The features that 8 x 8 offers are second to none. Cons Have a hard time getting a hold of my rep.I ordered a headset to go with my phone, but no one really knew which headset it took. Be forewarned. 8x8 is an empty box wrapped in a nice wrapping. The product is complicated. The customer service is deplorable. 8x8 is quick and slick to market and sell. Should you have any issues at all it is virtually impossible to resolve. My next step is small claims court. Barbara Gault

Once things are up and running, you might be fine for awhile. Reaching a human at customer service is next to impossible. Furthermore, if you have a question about upgrades or changes to your service, they are terrible at retention. They will tell you someone will contact you, and you may get an email in a day or two, but you will not be able to connect with that person. The service is fine so long as you can do anything you are trying to do through the web portal. There simply is no customer service with this company. ... read more

ever try to call service? I tried tutorials to run a report. totally incorrect info. the chat bot cannot not identify what a "Detailed call report" is. Service says to go to the chat bot then hangs up. 8X8 sucks!!! 3 hours now and i had a team meeting 3 1/2 hours ago. Thanks for nothing. Oh but sales picks up in three rings

After spending plenty of research for a VOIP Service Provider it appeared that 8x8 VOIP (http://8x8.com) would be my company's best choice. Sales department was smooth and efficient, like One would expect, until the first problem and then the customary "I will send a Support Ticket to Technical Support". I am still waiting for that call. Worst customer service experience I ever had. I've called for weeks to get resolution on charges my sales rep lied about. Some guy named andrew said he would call back and never did. They also will Draft your card without permission and refuse to take it off the draft. Worst voip company to deal with. If your an insurance agent stay away!

I don't usually give a 1 star rating unless it is warranted. I have been a customer of 8x8 for 3 years and not a week goes by that we don't run into phone issues that interrupt our business. Lines randomly become unregistered re assign ISP etc. Every time I call 8x8 support, they only temporary fix the issue. When i ask exactly what the issue is I get a different answer every time. Rather than fix the issue they rather blame another coworker or our internet provider. when the issue is with their poor VOIP service. They also ... read more
