I am sorry. I love 8x8 and have used it for personal residential use as well as now using it in a business environment. While I think it is a good service, please find a way to work with my network guys (everything we do is virtual, VOIP, etc.) so I can see the REAL incoming number? My guys tell me it's all on 8x8 and there is nothing I can do. Working in customer service answering incoming calls, it's a drag to see my own number as caller ID.

When the economy went to hell in a hand basket it was decided our business could be run from remote locations rather than having the expense of an office. The problem was one of communication. I called my "hard wire" phone consultant thinking I would have to somehow use the phone equipment from my office to connect employees. He suggested VOIP. I received proposals from three other VOIP service providers and chose 8X8 because of price, the technical knowledge of the 8X8 representative I spoke to on the phone, the prompt service, and no long term contract. The Polycom phone equipment I purchased through 8X8 was also priced much less than the other vendors, and was delivered quickly completely programmed. Before 8x8, I was only scratching the surface of my productivity potential. 8x8 has shown me what multitasking really is. When using 8x8, I know exactly what's going on at all times, never again will I be fumbling around with half baked landlines or inconsistent and lesser VOIP setups.

It's all about quality and quantity... Uninstalling and canceling the subscription on three lines for our business. This program has by far been the worst messenger/VOIP i've ever used. Issues with desktop platform, issues with the mobile platform... CSR's ill-informed and extremely limited on their knowledge of product, how to troubleshoot and correct problematic issues. Bar far, 8x8 is the absolute worse VOIP soft phone virtual desktop system I have ever used. There system has gone down leaving me helpless with my customers. Basic level support is very limited. Upper level support never ever gets back to you even after multiple ticket requests. Again, I have never had worse service with any other company in working with my business. Never again. I have been using 8x8 for over 5 years and am completely satisfied. I have 6 offices in 3 states and was paying thousands monthly for phone service. I was tired of paying increasing fees and charges from traditional copper landlines and needed to purchase two phone system for my newest offices. The new phone systems alone were over $1000.00 each.
