Great app, but a work in progress This app provides a whole new dimension of flexibility when used in conjunction with the 8x8 VoIP service. My office extension is never further away than my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. However, the app does need some work as there are a number of issues that we've experienced in usage, from being able to pick up calls to dialing, and random freezing. This would easily be a 5 star asset if it were fully functional without major bugs.
Literally the absolute worst service one could imagine. We run a 12 person company and have done everything 8x8 has asked us to do. We've upgraded modems, software, EVERYTHING - still not one single day without phone issues. 8x8 points the finger at everyone else and really does not help in solving any of the issues. Long story short is 8x8 does not provide internet, they provide VOIP service. Pros Sales people are friendly. We just moved our office. Comcast was our VOIP provider for two years and the service was EXCELLENT. However, Comcast did not service our new building, so we chose 8X8 as their website implied that they are a large well-established company. Our office opened on September 30 and here it is October 15 and our 16 employees are running on personal cell phones as 8X8 does not function. Best business voice app Recently, I switched over my business communications to 8x8 VoIP, through Invar Technologies. I tried many differrent mobile voice applications and non match up to this one. It integrates my business voice, fax and also allows me to easily access my company directory for easy communications. Cons: sometimes glitches when internet connection is low but which mobile app doesn't
Not biz class have been a 8x8 business customer for over 7 years. I just add the app to an employees phone for work at home. It's not suitable for this. Call quality is bad, 3g, 4g, or Wifi. I don't understand how my in office phones on the same net work so well and this app, on the same wifi network could be so bad. Will start shopping other VOIP solutions now that the market is becoming more saturated with cloud PBX services.
Pros Reasonable pricing Cons Tech and sales sides of 8x8 constantly pass the buck on hard questions, or on responsibility for problems. I hired 8x8 to implement a VoIP and call center solution for my company. The sales, demo, and list of companies they have provided services for was great and the options vs cost very reasonable However when it came time for moving the project forward they fell apart. Brand new 8x8 client. Like everything about the VoIP service so far. But this Salesforce app is a joke. I am within my 30 day trial and will most likely cancel as this was a primary feature we were looking for. So many bugs. Things disappear, won't load properly. Extremely bummed that this is such a poor app. I am having a tough time beginning to state how many bugs there are, not closing calls properly, not detecting incoming calls, constant crashes....so many.
