Before making the move to 8x8 we had problems with mobility and being able to deploy phones in different locations. 8x8 provide us that flexibility and ease of management. Using the old system feels like rowing a boat as opposed to the feeling now of smooth sailing on a yacht using 8x8! No brainer.
I love the fact that you have an app that I can download on my phone, which allows me to answer calls as if I am still at the office. I love the fax capabilities easy process and like the confirmations that 8X8 emails back to you when it has been successful. Great when you are trying to be a paperless office. I work for a fairly small company but before getting 8x8 we only had one mainline phone. Now, whenever someone needs to cover the phones and what not, it is easy for us to transfer the calls to someones office. It is also nice to be able to transfer different calls to different departments so one person is not stuck giving out messages all day! Makes the work flow easier for everyone!
We were able to make customer service a number one priority! Now, when members of the community call the District Office, we can transfer them directly to one of our 32 school sites, instead of just giving them a separate phone number to call themselves. What a HUGE difference this makes in serving members of our community. Thank you 8 x 8.
The system allows our two offices to stay easily connected. Virtual meetings allow us to communicate easily as if we were all in one location. The virtual fax service also allows us to meet the needs of our customers and vendors who require the use of a fax. After being with 8x8 for many years, our rep was also able to work to lower our total cost with 8x8. Very great service making that happen quickly and painlessly.
When we were looking for a virtual, cloud based phone service we wanted one that had an inter-office offering (VOD), as well as a complex call center solution (VCC)...and 8x8 had them both. Over time they also added full Zendesk (CRM) integration; so as you can see they are a comprehensive virtual phone solution. Our overall experience has been excellent!
We inherited 8x8 when we took over an insurance company office form one of our peers. In the process of changing accounts I had to get on with tech support to everything working for us. I must say I was quite impressed with the tech's comfort and knowledge of the service. Also I felt like I was talking to someone down the street instead of around the globe. The tech stayed with it until all was just right and we've had no problems whatsoever since. Kudos to 8x8!
