I was with 8x8 for about 3 years, then they upped my bill 40 bucks for the same service. I called in and was told that they could not do anything about the rising bill. I switched to Ring Central got more features then 8x8 for a few dollars less then what I was paying before 8x8 raised my bill. Seems to me 8x8 only wants large business and does not care about the little guy.

Terrible customer services. My rep hung up on me because i did not know what one of the charges was on my bill. Also, the CFO raise my rates and told everyone at the bottom of a generic email.

Customer Service at 8x8 is top notch. I would not use any other service.

I was just cold called by one of your representatives. I was calmly explaining the reason why I did not do business with 8x8 and the guy bluntly hung up on me. This is one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with any company so far.

Like many small businesses involed in the retail supply chain, my company began struggling with the major consolidations in the industry during the 2000's. By 2008, we had to start downsizing, and we moved to smaller office facilities and reduced personnel. We had a PBX system we had purchased some years before, and told our local phone company to move it to the new location for us, never even thinking about the cost. We also slashed our monthly bill, and with a flat rate, it became a predictable fixed cost instead of a variable cost. We now have a host of new features the old system did not have, and a portable platform that is continually enhanced to grow with us instead of deteriorating toward obsolescence."

What's up with the horrible customer service with your billing department??!! First I'm told one thing about fees that was clearly misinformation and generated a much larger than discussed charge on my credit card. Then when I call back and alas get a 'refund' processed, I'm told the refund will only be used as credit not actually go back to my card and I cannot use this credit to pay towards the cancellation of service. After 2 weeks and many hours of trying to get a clear line on both outgoing and incoming calls, we gave up. Customer Service understood and said "Sometimes it just doesn't work." Our sales rep Matt L. explained no problem, we can roll it all back. Except, he did not want to get involved in having that happen, and We were required to pay the return shipping. If this is something that "Sometimes it just doesn't work." 8 X 8 should pay for the return shipping!
