First and foremost, pricing. I didn't even know of 8x8 until i was skimming through an airline magazine while on a flight. Upon landing, i called and immediately terminated my previous service provider and changed over to 8x8. I was using vonage and unhappy with quality and service. Couldn't be happier now that i made change to 8x8 for my business. Second, i also use the fax service offered by 8x8 and coudn't be more pleased. Most online fax service providers are horrible. Our group went to 8X8 because we are recruiters. We really wanted the opportunity to record our calls. When a client gives us a job order, we can go back and listen over and over. When we do reference calls, we can ask questions and go back and type it out later without missing anything. We have the desk phones and the cell application. We never want the opportunity to miss a call.

I most love the cost savings and flexibility of the 8X8 system. Due to the economy my three businesses needed to seriously downsize to survive for the future. We had extremely old copper switch premises equipment and a high fixed monthly cost with our phone provider. We outsourced our customer service, and moved all three companies to a single 8X8 account with 3 different auto-attendants. They help connect our nationwide company while also saving money. The fact that we get better service, more features, for less money, really sold 8x8 to us. Each office also calls out for other offices to fill orders. The fact that we can change our caller I.D. to match the market we are calling to help, has increased our order fill rate and has also increase productivity substantially. We will continue to grow with 8x8, because of 8x8.

The ability to integrate my businesses to one system. It allows great cross business communication, simplifies the bill, and simplifies the management of the system as a whole.

Our phone system was confined by line issues we had with our AT and T lines and services. To fix the problem they would need to rewire our phone jacks to handle our upgrade to 3 phone lines and handle our fax lines and rollover options at a cost of $800 plus the additional package line fees taking our rates to over $280 a month for 3 lines. Long story short ... I love that wherever I am; my voicemails follow me on my Mobile phone or iPad. No checking in on the phone and writing down phone numbers ... they're kept in my emails for as long as I want. Awesomely simple.

Prior to signing-up with 8x8 I was using just my cell phone as I spend 50% of my time on the road. This was a big inconvenience in the office as I was unable to effectively use a speaker phone and was not able to conference call. Now I can have calls forwarded to me, conference call and use a speaker phone that sounds great.
