a little clunky and 8x8 slow to populate when a new window or tab pops up. We need the ability to auto-log calls without having to manually push a button to log the call, simply if we take the call, auto-log it as soon as we hang up. Also give us the ability to have no little pop up with the caller id unless we actually pick up the phone. Right now, every single phone call results in a tiny window with the caller ID which makes us x out of all those little windows.
The application should record call automatically instead of having to click "Done" once the call is complete. Plus if you have too many SF tabs open or navigate away from the tab where the call is being recorded you lose the activity. It seems like an unnecessary task since I have used a similar software to 8x8 where it automatically record talk time and dials.

Concept is great but there are some small things that would be needed to bring it over the 4 star line: - Make it work when more than 5 tabs are open. I have lots going on and almost never have that few. - Make it take up less space in Salesforce or have the option to slide the window in and out of the view. It really screws with reading my accounts.
results are inconsistent. sometimes the call appends to the correct account, sometimes it doesn't. sometimes it appends to the correct contact, sometimes it doesn't. sometimes it doesn't log the call at all. i must always keep a tab open in salesforce with my 8x8 call log report. I must open and edit EVERY SINGLE CALL that i place with 8x8. it is time consuming and frustrating.

This app frequently stops working. Either it will not place the call at all saying too many are open (even if it's just the one window), it will drop the call, or it will work on the receiver's end, but not on my end. It's always at least one or all of these problems, daily.

the reps at 8x8 are not well trained. when you call in with a simple question, they can't help you, but several of the issues I have resolved myself.

My calls do not log over 65 percent of the time and I am constantly getting errors and having to restart SF since the plugin can only accept 5 open tabs. Very dissapointed

I would give 0 stars if I could. When making a call you can't switch between records. If you start a call on one record and move to another, the call was logged to the first one opened. For the past week, calls are not logging at all so you have to manually log the call in Salesforce. Too many bugs.
