Best storage place in el cajon i came in on saturday and felt welcomed by the staff on saturday the only bad thing though about this place is on sunday the staff that is there does not keep office smelling fresh and clean i came twice already to see a unit on sunday and monday and it smelled like food and was super hot and stuffy in the office i understand if the employee is cold he was wearing a jacket but the customers who are coming from outside are used to out side temp not blazing hot temp cause a staff member is cold i... read more

Awesome service right from the start, even when i was talking to them on the phone. They were flexible as far as appointments. The place was clean and secure. They give you your own access code which is convenient. They have flies and flat bed available for use. Affordable and reasonable prices and most of all, free first month so you beat that. Highly recommends this self storage.

The service from the start was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything even before I purchased the unit. They showed me around the unit and how to access it all. The price is great and discounts are always a plus.i highly recommend it to anyone looking for good storage and great price.

My first time ever renting a storage unit and Shawn was amazing!!!!! Super helpful, and extremely friendly! The units themselves are super clean , I came in fully expecting to have to fog for bugs, they are completely immaculate!! Really excited to rent from here!

Shawn and Grace are always amazing. Great customer every time! They go over and beyond to help us with any issues. The store is always immaculately clean and organized. Not to mention it is always well decorated. Wouldn't go anywhere else in the future.

I stopped in at theA-1 Self Storage on Magnolia(N. El Cajon) to do some price comparisons. Although their prices were just about the same as others I've shopped for, Grace, who help me with my questions, was very well informed of their inventory. The size/location of my unit needs was currently unavailable.(A popular place for storage needs). I will check back with them monthly to see if the unit I need becomes available. Thank you, Shawn, for the free boxes. You've made my storage needs much easier.

This specific location gets a 5-Star without question. These ladies know how to run this storage place. They are always at work and so professional and friendly. I could pay for my unit online or via mailing a check but I make the initiative to go to the office to pay just so I can see how it is decorated and get ideas on decorating my house for the holidays. I also go in just to chat with Grace and Shawn, they are like my little A1 storage family that I see once a month. Grace keep up that superb management ability you have... read more

Spoke to Grace in early December about a space and then had to keep putting it off until late Dec. No problem at all and kept the same deal throughout. They can't be more helpful and they are always happy to work with you in any way they can. This is our first experience with a storage unit. They couldn't have made it any easier.
