Billy and Steve are awesome. I'd never rented a storage unit before, so I wasn't too sure what to look for or expect. Billy gave me the details I needed, reviewed available units and pricing (which are very fair from what research I did prior to coming), signed me up, and I was ready to store my belongings within 15 minutes, believe it or not. Steve helped tag team Billy in setting me up in the system, while I was explained the terms and details. Highly reccomend checking them out.
We came to A-1 after an awful experience with the storage place across the street where we originally had our reservation. Tracey helped us get a unit quickly as she understood we were in a time crunch and had already wasted precious time dealing with the rude staff across the way. I thought this review was posted almost a month ago but I do not see it anywhere. I received their newsletter today, another great feature of this business, and in reading it saw their review website and decided to post my yelp review to it, which I had written immediately after I rented my unit. Clean, secure, quiet, and great customer service. Nothing more you could ask for! I looked around the area for a good storage facility ahead of our upcoming move, and after making some calls and reviewing some places on Yelp, I decided on A-1 Self Storage. Their phone system takes you to a centralized call center, which is odd but in the end was not a problem. They quoted some prices and told me the local site would reach out to finalize the details. Steve and Billy gave me great service and were understanding of my last-minute moving situation - they even helped me stay within my budget to find something I could afford. They work really hard to maintain a neighborhood feel in their complex and make a point of knowing everyone who rents from them. The lifts make it really easy to carry major loads and transfer everything to your unit as quickly as possible. I highly recommend using this A-1 location!
Staff at this A-1 Storage are great. I looked into another A-1 in the area, and chose this location because Billy and Steve were so helpful and courteous (which goes to show you that the people on the ground are more important than the name on the sign out front). I would have given five stars except that the area can be a little shady. Had a great experience renting from Billy he was super friendly and helpful. It is easily accessible and affordable. I definitely recommend this place!
I helped my friend Dayna move and she had a storage space here. The service was so great, I will definitely use them when the time comes!
