Yabone and the entire staff here at A-1 are all so wonderful, they have gone above and beyond my expectations during the short time I've rented here. When I suddenly needed a storage unit a few months back amidst the pandemic, the staff here was able to give me a unit on the spot. When it came time to vacate the unit, my account was already charged the same day (since I forgot to notify beforehand) and due to the excellent customer service, I was able to receive a refund. I rented a storage unit here for what was supposed to be one month, and ended up being a year and 8 months. People say this, but I really wish I could give them more stars! My family was terrified about my belongings being stolen from a storage unit (it had happened to them multiple times), but after doing my research, A-1 on Vanowen looked the best. Great storage location, big elevators, carts available when you ask in the office. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and it feels like they are taking the pandemic seriously which is very appreciated! Thanks for a great experience!

First of all I wanted to let anyone new or considering storage locations as this for your first choice! I have lots of experience using self storages and off-site storage. Yabone and his team were hands on and provided excellent information before choosing this as my final site for storage. When I arrived the space was clean and the team was professional. We always had a storage unit for personal items as well as for our small business. We had a unit for years at Public Storage and got fed up with their rent increase and lack of cleanliness. So I started to look around and found A-1 Storage. We wanted a unit at their location on Vineland but didn't have the right size for us and they directed us to the Vanowen location. Thus far I'm pleased with my experience with this storage facility. I was moving my things from a storage unit In Torrance and was looking to get a smaller unit. I did the online reservation because of the online deals.
