I've been renting at this location for about 3 years and had no complaints about my storage unit or the service. Unfortunately, my unit was one of several that was broken into recently and most, if not, all of my belongings were stolen. The assistant manager, Shawn, has been amazing throughout the whole investigation process and has been doing her best to get this case resolved with SDPD. It is Friday after Thanksgiving's Bing and I am ready to decorate for Christmas. Came to my unit looking forward to picking up my stuff. The lights in the hallway where my unit is located didn't come on leaving g me to try to navigate a very dark hallway. I tried using my phone flashlight but it was too dangerous trying to hold the phone e in one hand while trying to maneuver things around to get to my Christmas boxes. Friday was considered a weekend for many contractors and our corporate office due to Thanksgiving, which was unfortunate timing for this issue to occur. We assure you we do not take technical issues lightly. Our team did offer to hold a flashlight for you as you moved your items in an attempt to help you out.
We used one of their storage for a couple of months. It's easy to get in and out. We went there at different times and days, yet it was always clean. Location wise was great, too. Center or everything, easy access from the freeway. The only downside for me is the height of the storage. We had a hard time putting in and out our couch. Our couch is an average size, yet it was hard to make the turns.

As an SDSU parent, I feel this is the best storage unit for your kids. It's a short, five-minute drive from campus, clean, secure, and run professionally. Before I chose A-1 I called a few other places. The other folks I spoke with weren't as on top of things or professional or the locations were further away. My son rented A-1's 5 x 5 unit which was enough space for after he lived both in a dorm room and an apartment. He felt he could easily have packed more stuff in the unit if need be. I needed a storage unit last minute and the ladies here were extremely accommodating! When I showed up to complete my paperwork, and view the reserved unit, they had me in and out in 10 minutes. Also got 1 mo free rent and a free lock for checking in
