I have been using this storage facility for a little over 2 years and im very upset at all the recent rent increases one of my units was increased by $100 in a year!!!! Every few months i receive an email they are raising the prices. This location was convenient as i live 3miles away but i will be ending my contract with A-1 storage and not be returning.

Overpriced and unresponsive. No better than PS...left 2 messages and an email with no response. They'll suck you in with a decent price then continue to raise your rates. Same unit, next door, 80 bucks per month less. Watch, They'll finally respond after my negative review...too late.
This place has caused a lot of pain! My whole family passed away and I trusted this company with my belongings after the sell of my home. I put all my belongings here in 2020 and was mugged in 2020 and reported it in 2020 right away that my credit cards were temporarily shut off due to being stolen. Great customer service and reasonable pricing compared to other storages. After checking other storages we found A-1 Self Storage to meet our needs at a good pricing.

A-1 Storage is the best experience I have ever had with storing my items and furniture during a 4-month transition of selling and buying a new home. The customer experience and brand are excellent. I worked with Mark for renting two storage units and purchasing moving supplies. When someone's car was in front of my unit, Mark was able to track down the person to move their car. I was in need of a storage unit temporarily and A-1 storage was very helpful and accommodating! The units were very clean and the facility is secure. I would highly recommend this place!

I have ONE HUGE COMPLAINT. When we moved into this facility the as agreement was rental increases no more often than every SIX MONTHS. They are a bunch of thieves. RENTAL RATE INCREASES are limited to NO MORE THAN A 6% by contract. They have exceeded 6% more than once. THIS MONTH THEY INCREASED MY RENT BY MORE THAN 20%. Other than the horrendous rents the facility is very nice. I would never come back again. We have units at Acorn as well. Just as nice but they are not money hungry. I recommend trying ACORN.

Jami gave my boyfriend and I a tour of a several units last week. We have toured several storage facilities around the Concord area over the last 2 weeks and this was by far our favorite. The customer service was great, Jami was so kind and answered every one of our questions with no hesitation. She really made us feel comfortable and we didn't feel as if she was pressuring us to make any purchases, she just wanted to help. To say the least, our experience was awesome and we will be renting a unit! Thank you Jami
After 2 rent increases during my 1 year stay....i was sad to hear they saw on the computer that they owed me 5$ back...but would not give it to me because I had already made the payment. "Its just their policy" to NEVER give u money back. They will pro rate you when u come in looking for their help...but will not when u decide to leave.
