I went in to buy boxes and packing paper two days in a row. Mark was very helpful with what I needed. I am a long time customer and would highly recommend this storage store for your packing needs.

Clean place and well protected. Worked with Mark who was excellent throughout the process of trying to find the right size unit. He was easy to work with and helped us out alot. Definitely recommend this place!

I had my belongings at this facility about 7 months while in transition waiting for a house to be built in another state. I always felt my downstairs inside unit was clean and secure. The temp stayed reasonable even in summer. When I needed a second short term unit, Mark at the front desk was able to find another unit right across from the first one which made it convenient when it was finally time to load up for the move. For over ten years, my husband and I maintained a unit at A-1 Self Storage located at Concord Boulevard and Kirker Pass in Concord, California. We are a large family and needed additional space for items during these past years. Last month, we relinquished the unit as the children are grown and the need for additional space is no longer an issue. First off this place is clean and very well maintained and Mark was extremely friendly and helpful. Made the process so easy.. However the hours aren't good but as the other person stated i guess it's city regulated? So not much to be done there but here is what I don't understand for as much as I pay for my storage unit why is there air conditioning?!! Or at least climate control? It gets extremely hot in concord and having it hot and stuffy in there makes it really hard to organize my storage unit. What gives? Or at least ... read more

I had a very good experience using A-1 storage. The units were clean and easily accessible with excellent security. Mark was extremely helpful! I highly recommend them if you need storage.

After reviewing exceptional Yelp reviews, I went to A-1 Self-Storage in Concord. Mark greeted me and professionally guided me through all of their offerings (units, boxes, locks etc). The entire experience was top notch. The Yelp reviews were spot-on. And, now, I'll add my review to others' positive experiences and confirm that this is the best place to store your belongings in the east bay! Thanks, Mark!!
