A-1 Storage in Mission Valley (Frazee Rd) is super clean, which is really important to me. It is easy to access, and the staff is very helpful. I needed to down size and they worked with me keeping an eye out for a unit close to my existing unit to make moving easier. Karen showed me units several times and was always pleasent. The location is security monitored and safe. I really like it.
They are a rip off!! I moved out a week after I paid my rent and they took it ALL and didnt give me a credit whatsoever!! They said you have to tell them when you move out in order to get a prorated amount BEFORE you pay! What BS!! Will never come here again!

Excellent Customer Service. I was with them for 8 months and found nothing but friendly service and they were very helpful. They also work with a charity organization called Serving Hands which is convenient for donating any items from storage you no longer need. Thanks A-1! :)
We needed a safe, reliable, convenient storage facility to store our daughter's belongings while she is studying abroad in England. A-1 Self Storage fit the bill perfectly. The facility is very clean and secure. Patty was very friendly and took great care of us. I'm glad I did my homework and selected A-1 Self Storage.
I rented a storage cubicle from the delightful folks here for one month while transitioning from one residence to another. Patty and Linda are both such wonderful people to interact with. The facility is very easy to get to and very secure. The unit I rented was clean and plenty of light spilled in from the hallway. They also offer military discounts, which we loved. :) I would HIGHLY recommend A-1 Self Storage on Frazee Rd.
Hands down, the customer service, specifically Patty, is the reason why I rented a storage unit from A-1 Self Storage. She is the most amazing person to not only truly help find the best unit available for specific needs but also to address the human component of the reasons behind a move which can be emotionally devastating. Being forced to moved out of my Student apartment for not having enough money to continue paying my monthly payments. i was left with no choice but move everything i own. Which is not a lot but still enough that wouldn't fit in my car. I've been a customer for 5 yrs. the customer service is awsome; they go out of their way to assist with the moving & make it less stressful. I strongly recommend them. The access to the units are open till 8 pm.
