The staff at ABC Veterinary Hospital are all so very friendly. My daughter and I took her guinea pig that we adopted for a check up and Dr. Neichin took a lot of time making sure we were feeding him the right foods and how to check for health issues. He wasn't trying to rush us at all like some places. There hours are great open 7 am to 8 pm during the week and even open on weekends 8an to 8 pm. I would definitely recommend ABC Animal Hospital. Lindsey is the greatest receptionist here, she always remembers us and is great about getting us in and out. My dog LOVES Dr. Wandry and she always takes the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. I love this vet.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I took my 15 year old cat here that I've had since I was a child. I got another cats results sent to me and was immediately told it was the wrong animal and to disregard it. They only sent me blood test results and the beginning half of the GI panel, saying my 5 lb cat was healthy. They also explained there were more results coming and would send them, which were never sent after multiple check-ins from my side. I'm very disappointed in ABC Vet. I took my dog there when he was sick. They ordered a med for him that they told me was an "anti-diarrheal" but when I got the meds home, it was an antibiotic (which I would have declined had I known it was an antibiotic because he was having stomach issues). They would not issue a refund for the $49 med despite the fact that the med prescribed was misrepresented to me. The tone of voice was very dismissive and uncaring re this issue. Do not take your animal to ABC San Marcos if you love your pet specifically Dr. Crystal there are veterinarian hospitals that are better less narcissistic and more educated. The front staff is excellent but it ends there.

This place used to be my favorite vet and I've been going here for a long time but I've found a new vet and will be moving on after recent experiences. I had an appt for 2:30 that I should up 10 minutes early to then was put in a room and waited until 3 pm when a tech finally came in and... asked me to keep waiting. I walked out and told them I'd make another appointment. Called this morning and was put on hold for another 15 minutes. Criminals and liars. Went there years ago for a dog they claims had a cold. DISTEMPER!!! The dog passed from distemper because they lied and bilked us for $3000. The emergency vet we went to said "a first year vet student would recognize this as distemper. Don't know why this request for a review is coming up on my yelp 20 years later but I'm happy to tell others why they shouldn't go here.

the worst vet in the county hands down! thank God we got another vet, and now know how a good vet treats their patrons. these people are uninformed, will endlessly try to make up sales on you, and are crazy over priced! Tell me this, ABC.... why does every other vet say rabies vaccine last three years, and you say it only last one??? Find another vet if you can!

I recently took my dog to ABC Veterinary hospital for a vaccine. ABC Vet observed her for three hours after the vaccine and told me she had no changes in temperature, however, they could not produce a second temperature which tells me they didn't actually take a final temperature. Dr Meyers is amazing, but her support staff are not competent.
