I'm so disappointed in ABC Vets, I have been taking my pets to them since 2006 and unfortunately they have gone downhill in the last few years. It takes 7-10 days now to be seen even if it's an emergency, I cant get a return phone call, meds dont get ordered for days and sometimes not at all if I dont constantly call and remind them. After 3 days of calling I finally got 4 tablets of Cerenia for my senior dog that hasn't been eating to help with his nausea, was charged $80 for 4 tablets, checked Chewy and you can get the ex... read more

I would have put no stars if I could post this review without any stars. This place literally is trying to kill my dog as we speak. She was treated last week for a skin allergic reaction for $260 and now her issue has gotten much worse. She will not even drink or eat water. The worse part. This place did not call me back until I call for the 4th time this week they finally answered and said they were too busy and understaffed today to see my dog Penny even though her issues have gotten much worse since I've taken her in. I have been taking my cats here for 14 years and have always been very happy. However, Dr. Neichin has retired and Dr. Martin has been out on sick leave for several months and it's not clear whether he's coming back or not. Dr. Neichin retired last month and Dr. Martin is gone. The business has gone corporate. Below are three of over a dozen closure notices in the past two months. It is really sad, we have been happy clients for over five years. I called first thing on a recent Monday morning at 8 a.m. to get my dog in for a UTI, female incontinence. I rarely give one star, but I'm furious right now. I made an appointment for my Bengal online. I received confirmation via email. So on a Sunday afternoon (today) I get a phone call from the receptionist who takes 30 minutes and talking in circles to tell us we don't have an appointment. Where is Dr Martin? He is the reason we started coming here and now he has been missing for months and they say he may be back in July some time? Also, I get it that it's tough during the pandemic but to be waiting in the car for 1.5+ hours while they examine your pet is ridiculous. I counted at least 9 other cars waiting yesterday. This was hard for me to write given that they helped us with our dog when we were in need a year ago but after our trip on at Patrick's day, our dog has not been the same. I have been a client for over 30 years and am completely offended by your office not approving a medication for my dog based on not scheduling an appointment. Hello Michele, I am so very sorry that you have had a negative experience with our hospital, however, we hold our hospital and staff to the highest standard of care and would never want our clients to feel as though we are intentionally trying to harm their pet in any way. Most veterinary hospitals require regular exams and bloodwork to monitor the liver, especially in older dogs and in dogs that take Rimadyl long-term. This place is horrible. No clue how they have this many stars. I've been coming to this place with my pets for about 6 months. One of our dogs has been having intestinal issues and has had blood in stool and vomit. After spending over 1200 here for a litany of different tests, they found out nothing. Instead, they told me to switch his food and continue bringing him in for more testing. Yay!
