I'm so disappointed in ABC Vets, I have been taking my pets to them since 2006 and unfortunately they have gone downhill in the last few years. It takes 7-10 days now to be seen even if it's an emergency, I cant get a return phone call, meds dont get ordered for days and sometimes not at all if I dont constantly call and remind them. After 3 days of calling I finally got 4 tablets of Cerenia for my senior dog that hasn't been eating to help with his nausea, was charged $80 for 4 tablets, checked Chewy and you can get the ex... read more

I would have put no stars if I could post this review without any stars. This place literally is trying to kill my dog as we speak. She was treated last week for a skin allergic reaction for $260 and now her issue has gotten much worse. She will not even drink or eat water. The worse part. This place did not call me back until I call for the 4th time this week they finally answered and said they were too busy and understaffed today to see my dog Penny even though her issues have gotten much worse since I've taken her in. I have been taking my cats here for 14 years and have always been very happy. However, Dr. Neichin has retired and Dr. Martin has been out on sick leave for several months and it's not clear whether he's coming back or not. Since they've been gone the place has gone totally downhill and there is no competent management. I had a very bad experience a couple of weeks ago. I had an appointment at 10:00. Dr. Neichin retired last month and Dr. Martin is gone. The business has gone corporate. Below are three of over a dozen closure notices in the past two months. It is really sad, we have been happy clients for over five years. I called first thing on a recent Monday morning at 8 a.m. to get my dog in for a UTI, female incontinence. I rarely give one star, but I'm furious right now. I made an appointment for my Bengal online. I received confirmation via email. So on a Sunday afternoon (today) I get a phone call from the receptionist who takes 30 minutes and talking in circles to tell us we don't have an appointment. Apparently the vet we have an appointment with hasn't been there in two months. Except we didn't choose that vet. Where is Dr Martin? He is the reason we started coming here and now he has been missing for months and they say he may be back in July some time? Also, I get it that it's tough during the pandemic but to be waiting in the car for 1.5+ hours while they examine your pet is ridiculous. I counted at least 9 other cars waiting yesterday. What kind of scheduling is this? And this is the norm. Maybe they are over booking! Also, they close so often for "staff meetings" 3 hours at a time, and inventories as well. This was hard for me to write given that they helped us with our dog when we were in need a year ago but after our trip on at Patrick's day, our dog has not been the same. I dropped her off for vaccines and stayed in the parking lot (couldn't go in due to covid protocol) and they said she would be out in 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes went by so I called them and they said the vet saw her and she was healthy and somebody would be bringing her out shortly. 2 hours past so my boyfriend called and they said she was coming out (we di... read more

Cc of the email I sent the office today: As of today, I will be changing veterinarians. I have been a client for over 30 years and am completely offended by your office not approving a medication for my dog based on not scheduling an appointment. I called your office earlier this week to schedule and did not get an answer or an option to leave a message. My pet, Lucy is 14 years old and her prescription ran out as of this morning. This place is horrible. No clue how they have this many stars. I've been coming to this place with my pets for about 6 months. One of our dogs has been having intestinal issues and has had blood in stool and vomit. After spending over 1200 here for a litany of different tests, they found out nothing. Instead, they told me to switch his food and continue bringing him in for more testing. Yay!
