Bad product. Bad customer service. How do you ship out a defective engine and then expect person to pay again to have it pulled??? So I'm going take another chance on their bad engine without any compensation on Accurate Engines part. I don't think so.
Had to return engine under warranty, and the problems began. After paying an extra $250 for replacing 4 bolts without notifying me, I finally got the engine back. There were 2 exhaust gaskets for one side, none for the other side. This wouldn't be a problem, except you can't flip one over for the other side. Once the engine was in, we discovered a noise that we still haven't been able to identify. They claimed the timing chain broke due to lack of oil. Had a new engine install last year and it has knocked ever since. I have had it back in their shop and they never fixed it
We are public figures, national touring artists and as you can imagine our vehicle is our lifeline. It was August of 2014 when we hired Accurate Engines and one of their qualified recommended mechanics to rebuild and install an engine in our vehicle. It cost over $5,000! We drove from the mechanic shop in Michigan to Hartford, CT and in "less than one week" the newly "rebuilt" engine blew up. I have NEVER had so many issues with a car or repair center in my life. If you value your vehicle DO NOT TAKE IT TO ACCURATE ENGINES. They would not help me and the car was in such disrepair that I finally had to cut my losses and sell it. Not impressed with your work, nor with the service after the sale. I had to talk to 3 different people to arrange repair on an engine that puked after 250 miles. ...and it still isn't scheduled. You want me to drive the truck to you, since you can't pick it up. ...the truck DOESN'T RUN! Convenient.
I'm not very happy this is why first u told me I could come pick up my motor I get there and the motor isn't even done yet then u tell me that u will deliver me my motor that day and I call u at 2:30 and u tell me that u guys built the wrong motor so I had to wait an extra day to get my motor rebuilt which I didn't want in the first place finally I get the motor in and only put 29 miles on it and the motor starts knocking and u guys have had my jeep for almost two weeks now and I haven't heard from u it all unless I call so ... read more
Let me save you all a major hassle. Do not take your vehicle to accurate engines. They promise you the world till they get your vehicle. They are liars and most of all they have incompetent technicians . I had my engine replaced there I get my truck later than promised and there where some things broken in stead of fixed. How do you forget to bolt the fan shroud back on or foget to tighten a radiator hose. Hose clamp was just hanging there. That's just for starters. It took quite a while for the vehicle to be fixed. my card was charged without my knowledge because of a misunderstanding caused by Tom Fitzpatrick. I was told financing could be arranged several times. upon picking up my vehicle and finding all of this out the only solution the owner could come up with was to hold the only vehicle I have until I paid 98% if the bill (literally). I work in customer service and I know that the pathetic resolution was the result of a company not focused on helping and caring for their customer... read more
