I bought a 383 stroker for a show car I was building, I wanted a aggressive sounding engine, paid for blue anodized rockers and received plain stamped steel, received no papers for the cam and other things, called and spoke with customer service and I believe the other name was Lonnie who built the engine, they were to get a different cam and take care of the problem, after several attempts I gave up, so my first experience was not a good one being I'm still waiting for this issue to be resolved,
Paid 3,200 to ship Chrysler 300C 5.7 hemi engine to Accurate Engines to have it rebuilt. Ran fine after initial install, but failed internally (low compression on cylinder 3) after only 6 months and 5,000 miles. Since AE will not cover remove and reinstall, will have to scrap the car. If they really stood behind their work, they would pay for r-and-r when the failure is clearly an internal issue. Cannot recommend.
I considered having you re build my AMC 360; but after reading the countless bad reviews I have "tentatively" changed my mind for now anyway !! Thanks !
Poor service, never got back to me with shipping quotes after two inquiries.Had to get motor elsewhere.
Great, but a little short. I'm an mech. Engineer, and would have liked to see more of the internals of this engine
sent me a bad engine. cylinder number two is bad. never answered my phone calls. take too long to reply to my emails. also said they were going to pay for the repairs. haven't heard from them for about two weeks. don't recommend buying engines here.
I wish I could say otherwise but from my perspective AE was hands down the worst organization I've ever worked with. My engine rebuild not only took way longer than advertised, it had be redone multiple times, never was right until I took my car to the dealer and paid them to redo it correctly. Thankfully I got a portion reimbursed from you but that took some work. So quality, terrible, customer service, terrible, pretty much anything you can list out was bad. Not very great so far. Have an engine being worked on and it's taken accurate engines 8 months to get my car back to me, which they still haven't done yet.
Acccurate engines does a terrible job of replying to phone calls and emails. I have bought four engines from them and two of them were replaced again only to blow up again.I would not use accurate engines products even if they gave them to me. their warranty is good for toilet paper. when their engines do blow up they are not covered and also which means no labor is covered. do not buy from these people. you will have problems. and when you do have problems they will not communicate with you. once they have your money up fro... read more
