I paid for a "complete rebuild" on a 3.5L Nissan motor. The price tag ran at $2,300 for what I initially thought was some quality work. I'm afraid not. Not even 1,500 miles later a metal on metal grinding noise came started coming from the timing housing. Now the only way to access the timing housing is to pull the motor back out, for which they wanted another $700. If they did a complete rebuild the timing chain should have been replaced along with any tensioners held within the housing, and they certainly neglected. Th... read more

I took a 3.5l Nissan engine to these guys for a complete rebuild. I pulled the motor and installed it after they said it was completely rebuilt. Not even 1,500 Miles later an issue in the timing housing arose. Loud metal on metal grinding. Being a fairly large motor in a sedan, the only way to access the timing housing is to pull the motor back out. I was told it was going to be $700, after I had already paid them nearly $2,300 for the "Complete Rebuild" and 7-10 working business days to make the necessary repairs. Here we a... read more

This company is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They do not honor their words. It was incredible. I was a medical student in Michigan who matched at a residency program in Arkansas. A few weeks prior to me moving to Arkansas, I had some engine issues. I looked around read about a few companies, and even though there were a bunch of bad reviews on that company, I decided to go with Accurate engines because I had a good feeling about the sales person I spoke with. His name was Jon Saab. And this... read more

They absolutely do not stand behind their Warranty. They come up with any false reason possible not to honor it. Even that your vehicle was in a lake. Yeah... I think I might know if my vehicle was in a lake. After that they don't cover fuel injectors inside the engine. Its considered an External Engine part. Buyer Beware! Google them you will see the bad reviews everywhere. Checkout the Accurate Engine's Boycott page on FB for more horror stories.

They'll take this down as they don't want the truth to be told. Crooks, liars, thieves. Product defaults, you will pay dearly from buying from them. They steal your money, then when you ask for a proper engine or money they say you are harassing them. Stay Away, biggest crooks'

Sent me a the same defective engine twice. First time they paid for it to be reinstalled. The second time they stuck me with the bill to have it taken out the second time. Less than 1500 miles on it. Said the would refund my money for less than what I paid for it. When I purchased the engine the sales person Allen told me all labor costs incurred would be paid by accurate. False. I didn't know he had lied until I received the engine along with the warranty after purchasing the engine. This has cost me over 4500.00 wit... read more

I'm not sure where to start but here goes, I called looking for a 4.7 high output engine for my nephew. I was told by Kim that you had one and I gave her my debit card and ordered the engine. I was given a delivery date and the engine did not show. I called Kim and was given another delivery date and the engine did not show. I called again and was given a delivery number for R&L carriers I called R&L and the tracking number was not a good number. I called and spoke with John Saab and was Informed that my engine was never shi... read more

Accurate Engine is anything, but accurate. I signed a contract with them to rebuilt my motorhome engine at the end of June 2015. I was told that it would be 8-10 days for the engine to be rebuilt. After two weeks, I began calling to see if it was done. They kept telling me they were working on it, but needed a part to finish it, and that as soon as the part came in they would finish it up. This went on until the end of July. My family had a wedding up north on Lake Michigan, and were camping there. I told them, "This is redi... read more

Worst experience ever. These people are crooks. Bought engine had it installed by a A++ mechanic shop. Within 1000 miles. Valve spring come apart. Was told to send it back. Per warrantee was to receive the engine back in 7 business days. Didn't get it back for over three weeks. Had it re-installed again *I had to pay shop fees for storage since it took three weeks. Plus the cost of towing and rental car. Within 500 miles of having it reinstalled the engine stalled on a major interstate. Had to pay for it to be towed... read more
