We have been dealing with Acura of Peoria on a refund for a canceled warranty for over three months now. They have lost our paperwork, not returned our phone calls, and not followed up on the situation at all. We've watched the managers talk down to their employees in front of customers, and their service to us has been awful. Dealership staff seemed friendly enough while negotiating the car purchase, but simply lied to me about both the condition of the vehicle ("needs nothing") and about the equipment the vehicle possessed (and I, not being a mechanic, trusted them to be telling the truth). They wanted me to trade in my acura when I bought a new acura. It had 88K miles when I said I wanted to keep it a little longer they said it won't have any resale value after 100K. The question I ask is currently unanswered "why would I buy a new Acura if they have NO resale value" per the Acura dealer.
At first impression, I thought the dealership was great. Stanley Brown greeted us in the parking lot, was super friendly, and very helpful. Original Problem: I purchased the Skyway service with my vehicle. I was told that if I chose to cancel, the remaining balance was fully refundable. I cancelled my service and now I’m being told that I will not receive a refund.
We bought an Advanced package MDX at Acura of Peoria. It was a mistake. We were promised certain type of DVD players, in writing and verbally, multiple times, but they installed different type, smaller ones after a week. They admitted that they would replace them ASAP, but never happened. We took our car to them few times, every time they came up with a reason not to do it. Was ready to lease a 2010 Acura MDX with the Technology and Entertainment Pkg. in white or burgundy with tan interior to accommodate our expanding family.
