Horrible I am a buyer beware kind of person so I seldom write reviews but this product was probably the most frustrating buying experience I've had. I received this unit and quickly found out that it was not WiFy which I thought It was, that it didn't come with any cables and the instructions were so useless they may as well been blank paper. Mac user? do NOT buy this thing is junk. here's why 1. does not come with cables. you need a very specific USB type A/B. Good luck finding it 2. sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. 3. latest mac os does not recognize it. you'll probably need a professional set it up. Buy the Fujitsu ScanSnap and thank me later.
Received this but can't use I was excited to hook up my new Brother ADS-2200 scanner after Amazon delivered it. Unfortunately, the USB cable was missing. I really wish I would've read the reviews BEFORE purchasing this scanner! Now I'm having to order the USB cord that matches the scanner. Thank goodness a review, from a previous (very angry)consumer, said what kind of USB cord to get. I sure hope once I get the cord, the scanner will work and do what I need it to do. I'll let ya know. Avoid Piece of crap Requires a USB but doesn't provide it. They charged $300 for a scanner that doesn't have blue tooth connectivity Complete waste
THIS PRODUCT IS INCREDIBLY MISLEADING AND YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE MORE TO GET IT TO ACTUALLY WORK! This product has made me incredibly angry. Paperport crushes the computer every time Paperport is incompatible with window 10. It keeps crushing the computer and I ended up uninstalling it. None of the versions from paperport worked. Wasted a lot of time for nothing
Connection cables ( two ports ) were missed to connect to my laptop I bought this scanner ADS-2000 Brother but when it arrived at home it was only packed inside with the power cord cable ; the two cables ( two ports ) to connect it to my laptop were missed.
Not for fast photo scanning I bought this scanner specifically to scan photos. I thought I could simply place the photo in position and it would scan. It wasn't until I purchased same that I realized pictures needed to be placed inside a plastic sleeve. Since I needed to handle every picture and put it inside the sleeve it would be just as easy to pick up the lid on my current scanner and place it on the glass. Not a good purchase for me. Very difficult to install no software to help with set up. Now it's too late to return and purchase a better and more accessible model such as ADS2700W which is a better scanner. Now I am stuck with a scanner that I CAN'T OR UNDETSTAND HOW TO INSTALL TO MY WIFI AND COMPUTER.....A BOMMER FOR ME!!!!
