The scanner is good with scanning delicate field notes for the job I ... The scanner is good with scanning delicate field notes for the job I work at. The scanned images come out clear even with the faded pencil and hard to see yellow pencil on the notes (600 dpi). So far it is holding up fine.
Connecting to SharePoint is very difficult, but otherwise a really solid scanner. I purchased this scanner primarily because it indicated it could connect to SharePoint and scan documents directly there. However, the connection between the scanner and my SharePoint site has yet to work (almost 2 weeks working on this). I've had my IT department assist with this and I have used the online chat with Brother, but the issue has not been yet resolved. Excellent scanner for the price So far I love this scanner, like the reviews state the paper feeder works well as long as the paper isn't wrinkled (the only reason 4 stars), it scans very fast and does both sides at the same time. If you have large documents you can scan in part and then just continue the scan and it produces one large document. Which works well for the single pages that aren't very clean. Excellent scanner for the price.

Five Stars Easy install, fast and clear scanning considering a second one for our office
FIVE Stars all the way What a great unit. Scans accurately and FAST. I have to pick receipts that are all the same width to bundle them, but once I do it can handle over 30 with ease and never grabs two at a time which is a problem I have had with other machines. I should take one star off for the software which I think needs some inprovement, but the SPEED and ACCURACY of this machine puts it back to a solid FIVE Stars.
Excellent desktop scanner for individual or workgroup use I purchased the ADS-2800W to place on my desk to help me transition to "paperless" and avoid trudging to our main multi-function printer/scanner several times each day. I had high expectations when I made the purchase, but this device far exceeded my expectations. It is compact, fast and accurate, and the touchscreen controls are simple and intuitive to use. We are now considering purchasing several additional units for our secretaries. Excellent product!
