Full Speed Ahead!!!! Wow! What an awesome scanner. I bought this because I got tired of fiddling with my Fujitsu Scansnap F1500M and the Neat software that came with it. Got tired of waiting for the software to catch up with the scanned pages. This thing spits out pages and by the time it's done spitting the software is done with its work and I can continue to work on the digital files!!! Soo Coooollll! Takes up just a little bit more desktop space than the Scansnap. Don't care; the software works so much better and faster.
Great Scanner This is everything that I was looking for a scanner to do. It has been flawless so far and I have scanned over 12,000 pages. It is great that you can to a USB thumb drive. You can name each scan or have it default to date, time and number. You can use continuous mode and scan an unlimited number of pages.
Fast, Fast, Fast! Fast, graet image and lots of scanning option. Good software bundle too. Its almost as fast scanning WIFI as wired!
More than I planned to spend, but worth every penny. Results are amazing ! Still have a lot to learn, but this scanner far exceeded my expectations. It's able to take paperthin receipts one at a time, straighten them, clean them up, and produce great results. Until you have used a high-speed, high-quality, well equipped scanner, you just can't understand. I didn't, but now I am a believer. I was able to clean my very cluttered office in less than a week, working very part time at this task.
This is an excellent scanner. Worth every cent of its price tag and then some. I didn't buy mine on Amazon because I had an opportunity to purchase it on another site without having to pay tax. I purchased this scanner to replace an aging $1200 Kodak scanner. In its day the Kodak scanner was small office state of the art with its ability to scan duplex documents in one pass. Superb, Fast Beast! I have already scanned over 10,000 pages on it and I have not had any major issues, maybe less than 50 jams, most of them caused by my own stupidity. One detail though is that the Scan to network doesn't generate Searchable PDFs. For that you need to use the Brother CC Software (included).
Easy to use and fast I use this at home for all my real estate documents. Most of my purchase agreements are at least 7-10 pages long. This is a great scanner even for documents that are marked up with handwriting.

Great for digitizing important information. Wish that I had this 10 years ago. It's a great way to reduce the clutter in your home. Digitize any important document and place on an external hard drive in cases where you don't need to keep a physical copy. Keep the external hard drive in a waterproof/fireproof safe. Then shred the physical copies of the documents. I've been going through the last 10 years of papers and eliminating most of my paper waste.
