Good with caveats Love the scanner. It's quick and scans are of a good quality. The only caveat is that often times it gets stuck with the page feeds and gets really slow when scanning more than 7 pages.
No computer needed to scan The best feature for me is that you can scan to a shared folder on a NAS directly from the scanner. You do not need a computer running. Awesome. Also, the ethernet connection is great vs the Wifi that will be slower when scanning. Great tool. Would highly recommend.

Works with linux and as standalone scanner! Thanks Brother! Latest linux driver works perfectly with simple scan on Ubuntu. Less than one day installed, but so far, it does everything I expected. Setup of the Apps (gdrive, evernote, etc.) was a breeze and allows you to scan without connecting to pc. Update: Tip for scanning receipts: Scanning a flimsy receipt is not pleasant with this scanner. This isn't a knock on the scanner though. Scan to cloud! A great scanner that can scan right to the cloud without a computer. It even allows you to choose which folder on your cloud drive to place the scan. A huge time saver. Plus if you use google drive, google indexes your scans so you can search your scans.
