The service is terrible they don't explain what they are charging you for. I received a bill in the mail a year later! They also wanted a 50$ copay on top of my insurance rip off Dentist.

Very unhappy with my dental experience here. I saw so many good reviews on another site, but I'm now thinking they were fake or by friends of employees. This was my first time at a dentist in FL since moving from NY. It took almost an hour to get two small cavities filled. The cleaning was very poor and the woman who cleaned them wasn't good. It has been a year since visiting Aspen Dental on St Lucie West Blvd. I went in there for a very simple extraction of a front incisor tooth. I was new to Port St Lucie but was seeing two dentists In Ft Luderdale and Coral Springs (one for an implant and my regular dentist for years). The worst dentist I have ever been to. Got a filling here and was having issues with it. I returned a week later and they ground the filling down and charged me $90! They billed it as prophylaxis; that is extremely dishonest. Normally dentists don't charge you to grind a filling down. That didn't fix the problem and now I can't chew with the left side of my mouth. The staff here were all friendly and pleasant. However, the cleaning seemed rushed and was not as thorough as I've had the past with other hygienists. They also applied the fluoride varnish while my teeth were wet, and so it didn't stick to my teeth as long as it should. (When I had this done at my previous dentist, they carefully dried each section of my teeth before applying the varnish, and it lasted for hours. This time it all rubbed off in under an hour.) Still trying to resolve an unpaid bill for X rays performed Nov/2017. Aspen misrepresented themselves as being in my providers network. This was even after i gave them my card for them to verify. They took as many different X Rays as they could knowing full well my provider would not cover the costs. Then they made me pay $55 in advance for a cleaning scheduled for February of 2018 knowing full well that that it would never take place. A total DUMP. Had an appointment on 1/31, received a email stating I had an appointment for 6:00pm. After waiting for 40 minutes, I got up and ask the girl if she knew I was waiting and said she didn't see me, I said you didn't see me? And you said you thought I was sitting waiting for a patient? Well I called up a week before I went made an appointment told him I had a bad tooth I went in knowing I needed root canal gave them all the paperwork after two and a half hours of doing everything other than fixing my tooth they finally gave me a price and I showed them I had their insurance that they are referred to and they said no that doesn't count for them because their specialist well I thought most dentists were specialist so anyway they didn't use my insurance they charged me $3,000 more than every other Dental plac... read more
