Our food when it finally arrived was delicious…unfortunately,our reservation was at 6:30 and we never received our dinners until after 8:00☹️Felt badly for our server as she worked very hard to do many jobs and clearly needed more assistance..not sure where breakdown occurred? Too many reservations? Not enough help in kitchen? Not enough wait staff? Have eaten here many times and never encountered this and have always had great meals!!!

Have eaten here before and it was good. This time- not good they forgot our food, they had to microwave the food. steak was very tough. Rissoto was mush. Salmon was good and so was the burrito appetizer.

We had high hopes but it’s hard to recover from an overcooked steak, (server never came back to check and see how the food was or I would’ve sent it back) and the only thing that could’ve made up for it was a glass a cab to wash it down but I also never got that from our server, (hostess brought it after she finally checked on us.) It was an overall disappointing experience.

Service was good until a diner noticed food stuck on their wine glass when it was delivered. They asked for a new glass. After that, the waiter’s attitude and attentiveness took a noticeable change for the worse. Calamari in the seafood pasta was overcooked as was the pork chop. Disappointing!

The service was great. The salad special had wilted greens with whole pistachios and blueberries plopped on it, with dressing on the side. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was swimming in a very rich, heavy cream, almost like a soup. The seafood part was good and plentiful but too way too cheesy and creamy and the pasta soft and overcooked due to the hot cream. Also, there are no alcohol free options on the menu, except one beer. We live on the island and Alexander's has always been one of our top 5 go to places. Last night was very disappointing. The service was horribly slow almost disinterested. The meal took almost 2 hours without dessert. The food quality was not up to the usual standard either. I used to always get the lobster/filet combo at $52-$55 even a few months ago and now it is $76? Understand inflation but that was disappointing.
