I should have read the reviews prior to booking because as the reviews mention, they quoted me a price and then I owed DOUBLE of what I expected to pay based on that quote. Give or take, maybe $100-200 more just because it took longer than expected (not sure why). A quote obviously is not the final price but this is not my first time moving and I've never been quoted something and then in turn changed $400 more.. Definitely would never use them again.
I wish I could give zero stars. This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had--with a moving company or otherwise. All My Sons quoted me 3-4 hours for a simple local move, then dragged it out to nearly 8 hours with no urgency, constant phone use, and a complete disregard for the detailed move plan I provided. They used no protective materials--no floor runners, no padding--despite this being standard practice for other customers. never will use this stupid company again.... scammers, liars, and annoying.... $1000, if you have a one bedroom apartment by the way.... time is utilized the whole period, breaks or not... the movers were really nice though.
Absolutely terrible experience with the group out of Athens. I don't know where to begin because this was the worst moving group I have ever worked with. To start, they gave us a quote which was less than half of what the final amount turned out to be. Second, they were supposed to send three people for the move. If I could rate them a ZERO, I would. Absolute worst moving experience EVER. They sent two movers with bad attitudes and zero work ethic who took items out of my basement, put it on the truck, decided the entire job was too much to move, and then removed the items while I was on the phone with their manager (who was instructing them to move what they could). If I could give this company zero stars, I would. From start to finish, my experience was a nightmare. The movers had no clue how to operate their own vehicle. What should've been a 5-hour job dragged into 10 hours of confusion and sluggish pacing. One worker's hygiene was so appalling, his odor permeated the entire house--from upstairs to downstairs. I would NEVER use them again. Beware! They scheduled us as 2nd move of the day for a FULL house move. I was told between 11am-3pm Monday, I started calling around 2pm and that is when I learned they would not arrive til 6:30p and could only stay til 8:30p and would have to come back the next day. The crew that I had only had 5 men rather than the 6 that I was quoted and paid for. We scheduled two trucks that they filled, but they weren't able to get everything and wouldn't go get the other items without me hiring another crew to move again. They hustled for sure, but put items in the wrong rooms even though they were marked where to go.
