I’m so disappointed with the unprofessional unprepared service I was provided on 3/11/2023. We are seniors not to mention I just had a major surgery. The day of the move three guys come in a personal vehicle with the absolutely NO equipment (etc.; dollies no tools to assemble or disassemble furniture as agreed). It felt like pookie and his boys stopped by to move my stuff. Yeah, I am not making this stuff up!!!! My furniture was scratched; broken and damaged! This company damaged the townhouse steps and refused to give me the amount needed to get them repaired. Avoid this company at all cost.
***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** TL;DR they rescheduled my move 3 times with no advance warning, causing my boyfriend and I to miss a day of work (and $500 in income), and then took almost twice the quoted time to move resulting in us paying $500 more than we anticipated. The movers where great. But one of them dropped my green egg grill off the truck. Unfortunately it shattered. They informed me not to worry it would be taken care of. I filled the claim like they told me to do but they offered me 125 dollars for my green egg that cost around 1000 dollars. The entire thing is ruined. I called multiple times and was constantly hung up on and laughed at while trying to get my issues resolved. If I could give 0 stars I would. Unfortunately my partner hired them and without reading any reviews first. Listen to everybody else and find some other company! They took their time (More than likely purposely to increase hours) but blamed the wait on not having enough straps (Not our problem), stood around most of the time (I have video footage to show), damaged my brand new furniture that should have been wrapped with bubble wrap but they used one layer of Saran Wrap that we were charged for when I had plenty of Saran Wra... read more
All My sons not had a surprise bill at the end of the move (threatened to keep my belongings if I didn’t pay), they also damaged several of my items and spilled charcoal ashes all over my carpeting from the grill them moved. Never even tried to clean it up nor did they let me know. Oh and they also send teenagers to do the job hence why several of my items were damaged. WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER.
I had a HORRIBLE experience with them! And I highly recommend using another moving company!! I paid my deposit to hold my place for this past Saturday and was told by a manager that they accepted a bigger job and if he was me he would be proactive and start looking for another same day moving company!! Or they can move me on Tuesday….. How unprofessional is that!!! I would not be recommending this company to ANYBODY EVER!!
I’m giving 2 stars because the 3 guys who moved me were great but the 1 girl with them (I think was the lead) was extremely rude. Not only did she tell me when she heard my voice (meaning because I’m black) she knew I was not going to tip and would be “penny pitching because times is hard”. She then said “I love working with my white people“. By far the WORST moving company I’ve used. No proper padding, no care taken loading items in their truck to just squeeze it in like my TV, and absolutely careless reassembly of items damaging them in the process. Ruined my bed frame by running the box springs over the footboard and chipping all sides, night stands, desk, entertainment center, and major scratches the top of in a beautiful 1950’s table from my grandparents.
