Pros: -They were very communicative. -Movers were nice. -I thought they worked fast considering they moved me from a third floor apt to my one story house -Only one thing was damaged (a hat that I intentionally left out so it didn't get damaged they decided to stuff it in a bag and it became trash) -Professionalism is 50/50 but that didn't bother me. Last week I made a last minute decision to move from a 1bd to a 2bd apartment and I'm so glad I called All My Sons to help! Dylan and Daniel were wonderful movers; fast, hardworking, understanding and careful above all. I needed to move in a pinch and all my sons provided a reasonable quote. I chose them purely off of this, and thought the estimated time frame was definitely doable for a 3 bedroom house. The 3 gentleman who came to move were incredibly thorough and asked to pack some items in our left over unused boxes to which I said yes, because I'm in said pinch. Tom and Jesse arrived between their scheduled time. We were ready to go: our boxes were packed and labeled, furniture was covered in blankets and wrapped and they were able to load our 15ft UHaul in exactly two hours. Our apartment was on the second floor and we had a two bedroom two bath and none of furniture was scratched or broken. Jesses' packing of the truck was flawless. Tom was the lead man and knew how to organize our goods when loading the truck. Both were congenial and efficient. Well done. I'd hire them again.
For me, a local move could not be scheduled for several days and the price was high. I was able to find a local moving service at a better rate and actual next day service! Luckily, I also read the reviews on Yelp and so I found better.
I hired All My Sons for a short local move. The crew started out great, but they made a huge mistake -- they left an entire room of my belongings behind. Yes, I should've double-checked, but I was physically exhausted, grieving the loss of my father, and trusted them to be thorough. I missed checking the laundry room. When I called to report it, the person was condescending and unhelpful. He offered to fix it -- but only after my move-out deadline, which didn't help at all. Irreplaceable, sentimental items were stolen. Primarily a record collection, the only thing I inherited from my grandmother. That's not something that gets misplaced easily so they can't cite that. Charges were more than anticipated. Had to make a claim about some damage and staff was very rude, including hanging up on me twice.
