Terrible experience. They were very nice on the phone and sounded like they would fullfill my needs, but their moving service is horrible. They sent a letter about all the COVID-19 protocols they followed and NOT ONE PERSON ON THE CREW FOLLOWED THE PROTOCOL. They were over two hours late and didn't call on moving day. If I could give zero stars I would. Not only do they overcharge for their services, they took payment for my reservation, sent confirmation of the appointment, and waited a full day to notify me (via text!) that they were booked and had no availability for THREE WEEKS AFTER the move date. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. STAY AWAY!!!

Since long reviews don't get read, I will write a short summary, followed by a longer summary. Fair warning: avoid All My Son's Moving company. They are not just a bad moving company, but a bad company all around. I am not even an ounce satisfied with anyone I dealt with at that company (from the actual moving crew through all the "customer service" reps when difficulties were encountered). Absolutely awful!! I was promised 3 movers but one left and only two stayed to move. They damaged the wall in my old apartment which I now have to pay to have fixed and they offered no compensation for. They get laid by the hour so they take their sweet time. Then they broke my brand new TV it's less than a year old 2020 version. Don't use these guys. When I called about booking them I was told that they were bonded and insured. They are not! Their trucks are insured not your belongings. They caused more damage to my belongings than the move cost. They value your belongings by weight at .60c a lb. Most flat screen tvs are 15-30lbs, that equals $12-$18 to them. The other Yelp reviews are absolutely correct. All My Sons Austin overcharged us. The bill should have been $218, but they charged $491.25. We were never told about the $109 fee for travel to the apartment before the move. They also charged $37 for packing materials (no explanation as to why this was needed). We don't know what the extra overcharge was for since they never sent an itemized bill. They just charged our credit card. We hired All My Sons to handle our move mainly because they claimed to insure their work. We were moving into our very first home and it was brand new. That morning we repeatedly instructed them to take extra care with the floors. However, the crew did not take the time to do so; and as a result created large gashes in our brand new floors. I wish I could give 0 stars. We had to be out of our tiny 2 bedroom apartment by 12pm, so we scheduled movers for 8am. They didn't show until 1pm. We were being charged $100 for every hour we stayed in our old apartment past 12pm. Apparently, they mixed up scheduling. And they didn't finish until 5pm!!! They were so slow, sometimes disappearing for 20-30 minutes then coming back upstairs with only one guy at a time. Wish I would have read these reviews before confirming my move with AMS. I moved a 1 bedroom apartment to another 1 bedroom apartment, everything pre packed and on the first floor outside the Austin area. Literally took 1 hour and 15 minutes (less really because that included all drive time) and they charged me just under 500 DOLLARS.
