The paperwork is extremely rushed, and they vaguely go over expenses with you refusing to give a time estimate. They also seem to overbook then call the morning of your move claiming they can no longer fit you in. Then they are really quick to leave and take a "happy customer" photo even though you havent gotten the chance to evaluate any of your boxes or items. I am writing this on Yelp because there is not contact email for All My Sons moving on their website. Last night at 9:30 on Highway 290 westbound at Fitzhugh Rd towards Dripping Springs, All My Sons truck #3637 ( a 24 + ft vehicle) ran the red light. His whole truck was in the intersection. Luckily, I saw him coming and did not enter when the light turned green. I proceeded around him to westbound 290 towards Oakhill. Very stressful move. When movers arrived the price was different. 9% fuel charge which I was not told about. When I stated that I was not told about that, I guess I OFFENDED the mover. He became rude and mean. Then decided he was not going to move me and started unloading. I literally cried for the whole time he was there. I now had no trust for the care of my items. Go somewhere else like the other people said they will waste your time. Guys in the office won't get back to you. You can get a better job done through craigslist.

Beware of this company. The quoted a reasonable hourly rate ($100 and change) and wanted a $100 deposit. We lived a mile away from their offices and switched apartments in the same complex. All movement was downstairs. The move itself took 3.5 hrs. so we figured $350+ . At the end they wanted $494 grand total. The 'travel time' charge was $109. This was not mentioned up front nor was some ridiculous fuel charge. We refused to pay the travel time fee. The also didn't put the bed and sofa back together properly. The bed caved ... read more

If I could give a no star, I would. I should have posted this 8 months ago when I had All My Sons move my belongings into storage. They charged me for 10 plus hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment to storage. During the first two hours - the movers got into a fight over who was loading the truck properly. The manager, Bryan had to come out and assist the 3 people. I was very overwhelmed with the lack of concern they had for my time or my belongings. DO NOT HIRE ALL MY SONS MOVING AND STORAGE!!! This was our experience: We hired All My Son's Moving and Storage because they were recommended by friends who used them. We live in Dallas and needed our son moved from one apartment in Austin to another. At 2:00 on the day of our scheduled move, we were informed by Greg that they couldn't move us. Pending an out of state move, I used All My Sons to move contents of my house to two storage units. Although I never received ANY paperwork (contract, agreements, receipts, etc) before or after the move, they seemed to do a good job. I asked if they could do the out of state move, and the crew said "absolutely." I contacted them a month later for the big move. It was ridiculously expensive! All I needed was help moving a few large items-sofa, bedroom set, dining room set, tv, and recliner. I had my own uhaul. I didn't need the moving truck so that was an expense that was totally uncalled for. The billing was not appropriately explained to me the day I called to make the appointment. Not until Monday did I get a full explanation of billing, when it was too late to cancel since we had to be out by mid afternoon that day! We paid over $500 for one hour of service!
