Bad Experience - but one guy got involved and made it right. Hired these guys to move us from Leander to Cedar Park (less than 5 miles). Sales guy (Alan Dull) was great, gave us quote and we spent 10 minutes discussing the antique (100 year old) piano that is extremely heavy (1000 lbs) and how they would need to care for it. Please beware of this company and stay AWAY. I booked my move several weeks before the move out date and they did not come through for my family and I. When you call to book your move, you actually call a Call Center, and if the call center representatives make a mistake, this company takes no ownership. My scheduled time as per the call center representative was at 4. Worst moving experience. Terrible from start to finish, BUT they didn't return the incorrect billing. Do not recommend.
I called this company to get a moving quote, but they wouldn't provide one unless I was willing to go stand in my storage unit and video conference with them so they could verify my items. I've already gotten several quotes so this seemed very strange to me. The girl on the phone was rude. Now that I see the other reviews, it looks like I dodged a bullet.
This was the worst experience we have ever had with movers. I have moved many times and never have I dealt with such unprofessional personnel. Our moving crew disappeared for several hours and at one point the manager could not locate them.They could not find them on GPS. WHAT?? I was offered a single hour deducted from my total. They made up the difference in the hour by charging more fees. RIP OFF!!! Hired 3 guys to move our 2 bedroom apartment to our new house. One guy had back pain and was extremely slow; another guy basically didn't work at all... was chatting on his phone with friends and just generally wandering around doing nothing. Only 1 of the 3 guys was trying to be efficient. I've recently moved the exact same amount of items (apartment was temporary) and it took 2.5 to 3 hours to load the truck. Completely NO CALLED AND NO SHOWED on me today. I scheduled this move over a week ago, confirmed everything 2 days before the moving date. Tried to contact them 10 times today, with no answer at all.
I was concerned that I did not receive a confirmation call/text and began calling first thing on morning of our move. I was told I was on the schedule but not confirmed because I did not answer my phone or respond to voicemails left. I do not have missed calls or voicemails from All My Sons. The assistant manager continued to insist that because I "did not answer" it was my fault they could not confirm. He told me it would be sometime that day, though. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They were dishonest about pricing from the beginning and then were sketchy when they called to confirm my move time (we discussed an early move time and they tried to push me into the afternoon), then about 45 minutes after the time they were supposed to arrive at my residence the operations manager called and CANCELED.
