This is by far the worst company I have ever done business with. We had 4 different people call us after we paid a deposit and gave us new prices (after they already quoted us). Then when the move was over they added on $300 in extra charges. We went from thinking this was going to cost $350 to it costing us $700 (not including a tip). So $700 to move 3 beds (already broken down) and 3 dressers and a TV stand which only took them 2 hours. Paid over $1,400 for them to move extremely slow and leave 2 full pick up loads of stuff at my apartment. I called to speak to the manager kenon and he was on the other line with an important call. I was told I can email him. Sent a full detailed email with a request for a call and no one ever called or emailed back. Horrible company from the top to bottom. I had to rent a truck and take two loads of missed things to my new apartment over an hour away.
I have a mouthful for ya'll. Where do I start. So I booked them 3 days before my move. They asked me what time I needed the move I told them 11am. They told me my job only seemed to require a 2 man crew. The next day someone called to confirm the details. The day of my move they told me they didn't guarantee me a time, I don't remember that but for honest sakes let's say they did. Had I heard them I would've booked elsewhere. I would caution anyone before using All My Sons in Charlotte. Stolen goods and when asked to return after confirming they had our tools, after 45 days, still not returned. They will not settle on a payment amount either that would rectify the situation. Terrible service.😡
I will not use your service again nor recommend you i will tell others to stay away reasons damaged furniture - took 3 men over 5 hours to move for a 3 mile trip 2 queens bed sets couch recliner washer dryer hutch and another bureau and 4 to 5 totes or boxes get the pricing up front
The moving team did their job. However, no Covid-19 protocols were followed and they have very unprofessional customer service when it comes to their management team for the Charlotte branch. Would absolutely never recommend this company. Really need to get aligned operationally with scheduling and be more customer experience focused if they plan to retain business or even stay in business. They care more about taking money than customer satisfaction. Not shocked at all the negative reviews they receive.
Before I rant, I would like to say that a few of the folks I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. We went under contract a little under a month ago, to which I started looking to get everything scheduled, including movers. I booked AMS for 8/28 and received confirmation. A few weeks later on a late Friday evening, I received a call from AMS staying they were canceling my move the following day due to Covid protocol. This was the worst customer experience I have ever had - I booked them for 4:30pm tomorrow and had confirmation with no issues.. today I get a call confirming for the morning to which I explained they booked my movers for 4:30pm as I am closing on my house at 3:00pm so I quite literally cannot move prior to that.
