We hired all my sons to take care of my move from house. The movers took three hours too long from the initial quote. The dollar amount was quite a bit higher from the initial quote. The movers slammed a nightstand up against the sheet rock in the stairway hall way and we have items missing, and other items that were damaged in the process. Warning! Do not use! SHOCKED! $500 supply charge for tape, paper and plastic wrap!! $500!!! 2 bedrooms,living room, and dining room moving into storage unit. Just furniture moved, no clothes or personal items moved. Sent a 4 person team and charged $196.00 per hour. They charged 1 hour for travel and 8.5 hours for a move 10 minutes away. $2600 total!! ⚠️ Warning ⚠️ Absolutely do not use Luckily I did not have to. Was quoted a price by phone and it was emailed to me. Called to book (confirmed I understood the quote) they were right in line with 2 other companies but choose to go with all my sons because they seem more well known. 2 days before my move they say quote is wrong and I should have known they couldn’t move me for that and they were going to have to come out and give a quote. They were scheduled to move us this morning and didn’t show up and cancelled at 8:06 am when they were suppose to be here at 8:00. No answers No options just you’re canceled
I had a scheduled moving date for Saturday from 8 AM to 10 AM. All My Sons called me at 8 AM to tell me “they would not be able to move me because all of their batteries had been stolen out of the trucks and even another moving company had been affected. They had called the police…and it was just terrible.” They had to reschedule for Monday, (two days later) which really put me behind and off set my schedule. My husband even had to ask off work. This company is very unprofessional. I did not use them my neighbor did. They blocked my drive way and when ask to move the truck I was called out of my name. 2 men continued to argue with me. I have made a police report because I don't feel safe knowing they no where I live. very disturbing and unfortunate we can't find good workers anymore.
Lawrence, who said that he was the owner/supervisor contacted me to confirm the move. Upon speaking with him, he became very rude when we asked questions about the move. He didn't even listen to our questions, he quickly said that they weren't a good fit for us and he hung up. I had already made my appointment and turned other companies down. NEVER use this company. I spoke with them 2x after booking/prior to the moving day. Everything seemed great. They were scheduled for a 10am arrival on Friday 5/20. On the moving day they didn’t call or showed up. When I reached out to them they said they were running behind and would try to squeeze us in 😱. Keep in mind I booked these ppl 2 weeks in advance. This place I would never ever recommend! For the price, it was absolutely outrageous and still no one will get back to me!! I did the 2 hour minimum and the 1 hour of drive time they require, so add that up at $159.00 a hour... it took them one hour to load my small 950 square foot apartment up and then one hour drive time to my new place (which was not a hour away but only 18 minutes) then it took less then a hour to unload my stuff from the truck because I had others helping (which the movers said was fine it would cut dow... read more
