Hands down the worst moving company I have ever worked with. Extremely slow and lazy. Local "manager" of the Charlotte branch leaves a lot to be desired. He has absolutely no clue what customer service means and has no business being a manager. All My Sons charge by the hour and rest assured they will milk every minute they can. BEWARE! If I could rate a negative number I would! On September 22nd I had movers from All My Sons (referring to as AMS) come to my home to assist me with moving items to a storage unit that a previous moving company could not fit in their truck. In addition, there were some things that I was still using - computer/monitors/blowup mattress, etc. So, AMS was to move these things to storage until the move date into my new home on 10/9. They quoted me $230 an hour for 4 movers. I paid $230 deposit and I made sure I had everything packed in boxes and in the garage ready to move. The only thing they needed to do was move furniture and break down two kid beds. I have moved several times before and it should have been an easy 2 hour move. When they got here and realized I was a single black mother they told me I had to pay an additional $1500+ for their services. Do not use them!
It is the worst moving company I have ever hired, they are intentionally slow and time consuming. I have videos of the employees smoking and talking during the service time, they took 45 minutes for Lunch, they charged me much more than the price they quoted, they are abusive and they steal your money, never hire them.
Do not use this company. Damaged furniture, stains in floors. Quoted a job and ended up paying twice the quote. My sons wallet was stolen out of a room they were not supposed to be in and a 7 hour move took 12. The employees were cursing and reeked of marijuana. I beg you please stop using this company. Terrible is all o can say. All the way around.
An absolute nightmare. We scheduled our move 3 weeks in advance, with several follow up phone calls to confirm times and inventory. On our scheduled day we waited two hours into our scheduled move time only to receive a phone call that our move was "canceled" because they couldn't get their guys to show up. No delay, no alternative options, just out of luck. Still angry everyday when I have to live with my damaged bedroom suite. Please buy the extra insurance because apparently by law in NC they can damage your furniture and pay you squat.
Let me start by saying the movers were extremely nice. HOWEVER, they are better suited for being delivery guys. Let's get into the particulars.....they hold your stuff inside the truck at the new location until after you pay. We were told the truck was full. When we arrived at my new house, not only was the truck NOT full, but the stuff also wasn't properly secured. My things were everywhere. They then have you sign off on the move. If only I wasn't forced to give the one star.. Not only did I have a Bose Bluetooth speaker stolen during the move, but also a 55" TV broken. This was all in addition to the crew literally sitting in their truck in my driveway from 3:17pm to shortly after 4:00pm merely waiting for their tip to come through via Venmo.....(presumptuous, tacky, and AWKWARD!!!)....while being logged as being on the clock by their office's "teletracking" system for billing purposes.
