$400 to move a gun safe, which was way more then originally quoted. Also damaged my doors. Could have done a better job myself.
BEWARE......This place is extremely unprofessional! They ripped our expensive mattress, and damaged a ton of our stuff. I marked everything for them and they just shoved as much as possible into each room. We paid for 4- movers; 1-didn't do anything, but walk around. And another guy cut his hand and had to go to the ER. So, we were down to two movers. They're making excuses for a claim. I'm now forced to do a letter of demand. It looks like I’m not the only one. This place I would never ever recommend! For the price, it was absolutely outrageous and still no one will get back to me!! I did the 2 hour minimum and the 1 hour of drive time they require, so add that up at $159.00 a hour... it took them one hour to load my small 950 square foot apartment up and then one hour drive time to my new place (which was not a hour away but only 18 minutes) then it took less then a hour to unload my stuff from the truck because I had others helping (which the movers said was fine it would cut dow... read more
Horrible horrible horrible!! They STOLE my mom's cash she had packed with her change jar. And it was obviously them as it was the only box that was not taped. And they charged her for the tape!!! They claimed there were more movers there than how many there actually were. Trying to pull a fast one on my mom and grandma who had to move out fairly quickly since their house sold quicker than expected. This is NOT a reputable company. Steer clear of them at any and all costs
$700 to move 5 large pieces of furniture (bed frame, head and foot board, mattress and dresser) and maybe one or two other pieces of furniture, that I know was organized and ready to go, 3 miles down the road, for a 72 year old man who couldn’t do it alone. And he had to pay BEFORE they’d unload his stuff? The job isn’t complete until everything has been unloaded, damage free. This is the craziest business practice ever. Hey how do you justify quoting $600 the charging $2200 and destroying my walls and furniture and appliances? I don’t understand how you have a 5 star rating on here with the crooks you are? Also you like to intimidate my wife because I’m stuck at work? This won’t be the end of this!
If I could make this NEGATIVE STARS I would. But I’m forced to give them one just to write this review about how terrible they were. We scheduled our move date over three months ago and CONFIRMED NUMEROUS times for the date and time. June 26th we waited and waited for the movers to show up. 9am rolls around and no call no movers. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone! Whatever they tell you over the phone is totally different than what you get! Be careful
They will bill you for the initial deposit then claim you never called them and that they never charged you despite your bank statement showing ALL MY SONS MOVING & STORAGE COLORADO SPRINGS and then refuse to issue a refund and tell you to dispute the charge with your bank. Either incompetent or attempting fraud, or both.
