Will never use them again. Quoted me $350 give or take for a small move. Not even a truck load and ten miles away. Once they got to my new place they asked for payment of nearly almost $700 after I already put down $100 deposit and expected to only have to pay around 300 with a tip for the movers. I called and talked to the operations manager and he said I would be refunded for not using all the time they billed me for. If I could give zero stars I would! I had THREE pieces of furniture to move plus a large, expensive, flat screen TV. THATS IT. Not only is all my furniture scratched and broken, my TV “didn’t make it off the truck” and we ended up paying almost $800. AND not only did I buy them all food and tip them all in cash, at the end of the move, they told my boyfriend I hadn’t tipped them and that he needed to. My jewelry was stolen and my bed frame is missing 4 legs so i cant sleep on it! Worst ever!!!! And i was quoted a price around 4hrs of service no extra charges. They charged my double of wut i was supposed to pay!
My next door neighbor used this company. The guys decided to be lazy and backed their large, heavy truck down my driveway and yard without my permission. The truck is already heavy and left ruts in my mole infested yard. I went to ask the guys how heavy the truck is and will be because I have a sprinkler system that could be broken. The guys just laughed me off. Poor customer service!!!! Even Nebraska Furniture won't pull their trucks, that are same size, into the drive way. Have pictures if needed
I used All My Son’s based off when my parents used them years ago. My memory must be fading at 33 years old because I don’t remember this many issues. The crew showed up unprepared and I had to jump through hoops to get / supply my own boxes. My clothes that were hanging had to be put in a mattress bag. My kitchen table was nicked leaving my old place and while entering my new place. Only when I said hey...did they put a pad down and disassemble it to get it in the house. There in home estimator was way off ! They quote you one price when the truck is loaded charge you another and will not unload until you pay! The movers ask for tips because they are only paid $8 per hour
I wish I could give them 0 stars, honestly. Dealing with this company was great until the actual move. During the move, one of the movers blasted rap on his phone the entire time which was pretty annoying and unprofessional. There was only one guy who seemed to actually care about time, meanwhile the other two took their sweet time...which was crappy for me considering I'm paying these guys on the hour. I called a month prior to my moving date for a quote, providing all the details (how many items, what type, how many rooms, how many floors in the homes, etc). AMS recommended a 3 man crew, gave a quote and I paid my deposit. Four days before my move, AMS called to confirm and asked me again for the details of my move. I provided the same information but this time a 4 man crew was recommended at a higher hourly rate.
