Scratches on the furniture and the floors in both the house moved from and house moved into. Broken dryer. Truck not big enough and 2 trips were required costing more than the estimate. Called twice to inform about the truck problem. Not good response. Emailed after about the issues and no one will respond
Well, they didn't show up for two days, I was promised free boxes and bubble wrap because of the first day they didn't show and 75$ off for the second day. Those weren't given to me. It's COVID19, and these two boys didn't bring a mask and I kept needing to help them move stuff because they didn't understand how to turn furniture around doorways, etc. They didn't bring any of that stuff, didn't give me that discount, only put about half the stuff on my list in the van, I have to hire ANOTHER moving company to get my desk out... read more
I planned my move with them almost two months in advance. I only needed them to unload my uhaul and chose the time frame from 2-4. I told them repeatedly I had a heavy shelving unit that weighed 400lbs and it will take 4 strong people to lift. They claimed this was not a problem and they would take care of it for me. I have had the worst experience in my life. I was quite one price between 700-800 but when they pulled up to the drop off my bill was 1500. Jason (manager) told me if I didn’t pay he was going to pull off with my furniture. Refused to give me corporates email or their license number. I was suppose to get 3 men instead I got 2 young guys and a female. The female was a driver and did not lift. The two young guys had no experience want so ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They were late, slow and over cost.
I do not recommend this company to move your furniture. They damaged my furniture and my house. They won’t return my calls to process a claim. They promised that they come under on their quotes and they ultimately charged me 2x the quote. Beware! John Michael will tell you everything you want to hear about how you want your property to be handled and then when there are problems, they completely ignore you and won’t process your claim. This is the worst moving company ever, will give you a quote, sign the contract on the set price and then on moving day, will hold your possessions hostage on their truck until you agree to pay more. This company is into extortion and theft. DO NOT use them. If they have done this once they will do it again...contact the police like we did.
