This place I would never ever recommend! For the price, it was absolutely outrageous and still no one will get back to me!! I did the 2 hour minimum and the 1 hour of drive time they require, so add that up at $159.00 a hour... it took them one hour to load my small 950 square foot apartment up and then one hour drive time to my new place (which was not a hour away but only 18 minutes) then it took less then a hour to unload my stuff from the truck because I had others helping (which the movers said was fine it would cut dow... read more
Not happy with how Ben responded to my concerns and outrage over cost of moving 4 miles up the road on top of the damage! It took from 8:00am -4:30 to pack up my stuff and empty the truck! I feel like the company doesn’t care how long it takes as they are milking you for $169 per hour! Not everyone moves at the same pace and they should know that and NOT penalize the customer for it!
Caught a box on fire in my kitchen by laying a box on my glass top stove and it turned the eye on. Smelled horrible and glass top was messed up
Currently my experience is being investigated by the police department in the city where I moved. The coordinator of the move & owner of the franchise were less than concerned.
Our actual movers, Travis Smith and his team, were quick and polite - but this company is another story. They showed up early and sent 3 movers, when it could’ve been done with 2 (as we had in the past). I was supposed to be charged $700 but it ended up being $1100. I wanted to tip my movers but had to use that money to pay the company since they overcharged me. There’s definitely other moving companies to use that are comparable in quality but don’t charge as much. Look elsewhere for your movers.
My mother in law used this company yesterday to move her belongings out of storage into her new home yesterday, 6/14/2021. Absolutely WORST experience ever!!!!!! There were four guys and only one did his job while my two older boys did the other guys jobs. They were the laziest people! We found that many things had been broken that were not broken when being loaded and we got it on video. Over $1700 was paid to the company and the work done was awful!!! Do not use this company. My wife and I paid for a move with this company. MULTIPLE ITEMS WERE LEFT IN THE RAIN AND RUINED. Boxes were so soaked that they were disintegrating. Water is pouring out of our lamps. Our new mattress has dirt stains on it. I am calling multiple times this morning to speak with someone for help. This is a disaster for almost $7000. The gentleman who handled our exchange took my phone and left the google review for us. Wouldn’t have been so upset had they informed us of the scratches left on our freshly painted walls we had done before we moved into our new home. Or if they had let us know of the few items that were broke during the move. Super upset we had to discover these over the 1-2 weeks of settling in and unpacking. This business is a total money scam! I was initially quoted $500 for “a worst case scenario of a four hour total move from an 800 sq ft apartment to my new place.” Six hours later, before delivering my furniture and belongings off the truck to my new home, I was informed my move would be over double the amount initially quoted to me prior to my move.
