It was good restuarant but so expensive comparing to the other
I’m not sure if it was due to restaurant week, but our experience was very poor. The scallops were rubbery from being way overcooked, my wife’s sea bass had absolutely no flavor (neither did the scallops). Both tasted as though there was not even salt and pepper. The manager ended up comping our meals as they were both inedible. I might try them again after restaurant week ends to see if it’s better
You can’t remove things from plates. An example of this is the cheese wheel, you’re not allowed to remove the mushrooms from it. In certain restaurants that’s understood, but this isn’t that kind of restaurant to be picky about refusing to remove an item from the dish. The chicken was unseasoned and just plain, tasted like it was boiled just enough and plated. We didn’t get seated outside how we requested even after asking to be seated outdoors when making the reservation. The indoor area was too loud due to 2 big parties oc... read more
We went on NYE and it was a mess. They misprinted the menu and we were aware until our pasta came out and it was completed different than what we ordered. Our server didn't change or offer us any discounts for this misprint. We ordered the set menu for NYE and the desert that came out was 100% a Costco cake that was still FROZEN when we received it. Not worth the $80 per person. Just walk around Little Italy and find something better. Price to quality ratio is poor. The ambiance is great so it's a shame the food is very aver... read more
I came here for New Year’s so I already knew it might be busy, but the food still took a minute even with the limited menu. When it finally came out, it had zero flavor, like extremely bland. My pesto pasta literally tasted like noodles and water, and my boyfriend’s bolognese wasn’t much better.
CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING IT. This place tried to scam us not once, but TWICE. Our server, Allesio, tried to charge us for an extra bottle of $60 wine. When we pointed out the charge, he removed it, but then proceeded to add a $12 surcharge that was not on the initial bill. Now i might not have the best memory, but i have a photogenic one when it comes to numbers, and I KNOW for a fact that it was not on the original bill. When I pointed out the surcharge, our server said it was also on the original bill which I know is ... read more
cold food, an obviously drunk and loud party was sat right next to us when there was plenty of other spaces. they even apologized halfway through dinner. quality of food was very poor and not worth the price even at happy hour.
My second time there and was the last time For sure. Food was and the service terrible.
My food was decent, but it took over an hour to arrive. My wife's Cannelloni was cold by the time we got it. But the biggest issue is they add a 4% surcharge, which is a complete scam. This is basically a tip for the owner. It's like saying they want to make 4% more profit beyond the menu prices. This kind of practice is unethical and should be illegal but somehow restaurant's have an exemption. And they tell you it's to offset rising costs and cover employee health benefits but that's just marketing spin.
