We booked a reservation for dinner on Christmas Day. The restaurant was packed, and the staff was inadequate for the volume of diners. The setting was noisy especially with loud holiday music playing. When the waiter finally came to our table, we ordered everything: beverages and all 3 courses of the food. Been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while and finally went there with our out of town friends last night. They only had a special Christmas menu available which was fine but literally had the worst experience ever from the beginning. Took about 10 min for our waiter to acknowledge us and another 30 min to get our starter. Our second course was brought out and and we asked for pepper and Parmesan cheese which they never brought us. Terrible food… all served cold. Brought new but still unsatisfactory. Nothing taken off bill and cold lava cake and not even comped for that. Terrible second and last experience there. So sad.
Don't get the risotto. They say they have shaved truffles, but actually only give you truffle oil for $48. go anywhere else in little italy
Food was nicely plated but lacked in flavor. Wasn’t worth the amount charged. They had a nice selection of drinks. The bread/appetizer plates weren’t the cleanest, along with the silverware. It took almost an hour to get bread and 45 minutes to get appetizers. Never got asked to order an entree.
Food was not good. Not bad. But not good. Servers seemed overloaded/hectic.
Horrible experience! Booked in advance requesting for a nice table to celebrate my birthday. I felt like thy overbooked or took too many walk ins that it was hectic. We got there early and table was not ready…they had to just find whatever table available and got outdoor dining near the street…not what I envisioned for my bday…not to mention the hostess was not very friendly. 4 pasta dishes took 2 hours to be made. We had an 8pm reservation and received food at 10pm. It was an incredibly busy Saturday night after a holiday event in Little Italy. Maybe this restaurant does better on weeknights? The food was excellent when it did arrive 2 hrs later.
